Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Sofia Lovgren-Fullmer
Sofia Lovgren-Fullmer

Heads-up to the {q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, Sofia Lovgren-Fullmer bet 33,000 and then called the shove by Phuong Ngoc Nguyen for what appeared to be around 100,000.

Phuong Ngoc Nguyen: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Sofia Lovgren-Fullmer: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

"Very lucky," the Swede whispered almost silently and notched up the next elimination after the {7-Clubs} turn and {2-Diamonds} river.

Lovgren-Fullmer Doubles Through Bien

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Sofia Lovgren-Fullmer
Sofia Lovgren-Fullmer

Sofia Lovgren-Fullmer made it 20,000 to go and Mai Bien three-bet to 52,000 from one seat over. The reraise by Lovgren-Fullmer followed and she then called all-in for 375,000 when Bien pushed.

Sofia Lovgren-Fullmer: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Mai Bien: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Lovgren-Fullmer filmed the showdown on her phone with subtle commentary along the way. The {7-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} board stayed clean and she doubled, leaving Bien with a short stack.

Kim Knocks Out Feng; Finds Aces After

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Zhao Feng
Zhao Feng

Nam Hyung Kim raised from under the gun and called a three-bet to 60,000 by Zhao Feng, which led them to the {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop. Kim checked and Feng bet 60,000 to then face the check-raise to 500,000 by Kim. Feng called all-in for around 230,000 and sighed when the cards were flipped over.

Zhao Feng: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Nam Hyung Kim: {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

The bottom two pair held up on the {8-Hearts} turn and {q-Clubs} river as Kim soared further ahead.

One hand later, Akshay Kapoor complained that no hands of his had been reported yet. He opted to limp and Kim jammed from the big blind. "I fold," Kapoor sighed and tabled his {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}. Kim first rolled over the {a-Spades}, then grinned and also flashed the {a-Clubs} as well.

Sai and Sanborn Out Before the Break

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Jonathan Sanborn
Jonathan Sanborn

Jonathan Sanborn had not seen the shove by Natalie Teh from under the gun and limped from the small blind but called the shove by Teh regardless after some brief confusion.

Natalie Teh: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Jonathan Sanborn: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades} board failed to improve Sanborn and he was left with a mere 30,000 in chips.

One table over, Benjamin Sai was all-in for 75,000 against Nam Hyung Kim and they flipped them over.

Benjamin Sai: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Nam Hyung Kim: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Neither player connected with the {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} board and that spelled the end for Sai in 30th place. In the final hand before the break, Sanborn then bowed out as the field was reduced to the last 28 contenders.

Chen Flipped Out by Aboudi

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Yong Chen was all-in for 121,000 before the flop and looked up by Ido Aboudi for the following flip to emerge.

Yong Chen: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Ido Aboudi: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The {j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop improved Chen but the {7-Spades} turn left him drawing dead, which made the {k-Clubs} river a formality.

Autran Doubles Through Nguyen

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

In a preflop all-in contest, Frenchman Jean-Robert Autran was all-in for 172,000 and looked up by table neighbour Hoa Thinh Nguyen.

Jean-Robert Autran: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Hoa Thinh Nguyen: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} board changed nothing whatsoever as Autran doubled once more.

Three Double Ups and a Knockout

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Omair Javed
Omair Javed

On the pay jump bubble, Paul Newey raised to 55,000 with 12,000 behind and called all-in when Renniel Galvez ion the big blind reraised.

Paul Newey: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Renniel Galvez: {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}

The {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} board ensured a split pot as neither kicker played.

At the same time, Natalie Teh had all but one chip in preflop and then called it off versus Zdravko Duvnjak.

Natalie Teh: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Zdravko Duvnjak: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Teh was on her way out and didn't even see the flush on the {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} runout as she escaped from elimination.

Bryan Huang flipped with {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} against chip leader Nam Hyung Kim with the {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}. The {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} board was a sweat all the way but Huang remained ahead.

Omair Javed was then the player to miss the pay jump when he three-bet jammed for around 100,000 with {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} into the {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} of Mai Bien. The {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts} board brought no miracle escape.
