Radev Among the Early Chip Leaders

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

On the tail end of a heads-up pot to the AK52J river, Vasil Radev bet 4,000 and earned a call from his table neighbour. The Bulgarian turned over the Q10 for the nuts and that won the pot for Radev, who leaped to a healthy profit in level three.

Quan Qiu squeezed to 4,700 and then quickly looked up the short-stacked all-in of Feng Ji Chua to create the following showdown.

Feng Ji Chua: 54
Quan Qiu: KK

Following the J43 flop, Chua asked for diamonds and one of them came on the Q turn. However, the K river only improved Qiu to a set of kings and Chua re-entered shortly after.

Park Still Slipping; Breed Rising

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

More than 50 players have now registered for Day 1a and it appears that just one of them lost all of the chips already.

Koen Breed raked in a profit in a three-way pot when the AK436 river was checked. One of his opponents tabled Q10x for a missed open-ender, after which Breed rolled over the A7 for the top pair. That was good enough to win the pot, as the third player in the hand folded.

One table over, Hyunkyou Park has slipped down further and sits slightly above half the starting stack. The latest hand saw him go heads-up to a flop of Q55 after which Aayush Arya bet 2,000 into 5,500 from under the gun to win the pot.
