More than 50 players have now registered for Day 1a and it appears that just one of them lost all of the chips already.

Koen Breed raked in a profit in a three-way pot when the A♠K♥4♥3♠6♣ river was checked. One of his opponents tabled Q♦10x for a missed open-ender, after which Breed rolled over the A♥7♥ for the top pair. That was good enough to win the pot, as the third player in the hand folded.

One table over, Hyunkyou Park has slipped down further and sits slightly above half the starting stack. The latest hand saw him go heads-up to a flop of Q♦5♥5♠ after which Aayush Arya bet 2,000 into 5,500 from under the gun to win the pot.

Heads-up to the 7♣6♣5♣ flop, Bien Mai checked and subsequently called a bet worth 400 by Jiannan Yu from one seat over. The same action repeated on the 4♠ turn for 1,000 and Mai also checked the 2♥ on the river. Yu now made it 3,200 to go and Mai sent the cards into the muck.
