On the river of a 7♠6♥2♥J♣7♣ board, Curtis Lim called a large bet worth 40,000 and his opponent tabled the 5♣5♦ for fives and sevens. Lim had that beat with the J♠9♥ for jacks up and that propelled his already impressive stack even further.

On the tail end of a 10♣6♦2♥J♦5♣ board, Xiaosheng Zheng bet 2,000 out of the blinds. He was raised to 7,000 to then move all-in and his opponent mulled it over for a while. With around 12,000 behind, the shorter stack eventually called it off.
Zheng tabled the 4♠3♠ for the nut straight and his opponent sent the cards right into the muck, where the dealer retrieved them to expose 8♠8♣ according to all-in showdown rule.
Level eight has commenced with more than 200 entries showing on the clock. Some of the most recent additions to the field were forced to re-enter including Alexander Puchalski, Sameer [Removed:550], Pete Chen and Thijs Hilberts. For the latter, his stack was reduced to a short stack when 10♥7♥ rivered a flush against him.
Chen's re-entry was already crowned by success as he more than doubled in a matter of minutes.

Fang-Kei Yang raised to 1,600 and his table neighbour three-bet to 4,800. The initial raiser piled in a four-bet to more than 21,000 and then called when the shove followed.
"You have aces?" Yang inquired as he flipped over his K♦K♠. That wasn't the case as he was up against A♦K♥. The ace came but also the case king on the A♠K♣10♦2♥4♠ board. Yang's 39,200 covered to score the knockout.
A very loud scream emerged from right in front of the final table stage when a three-way all-in emerged. A shorter stack from South Korea was all-in with the Q♠J♠ while Lewis Cowell had the A♦K♣ exposed. Hun Tae Choi revealed the Q♣Q♥ from under the gun and had both opponents covered.
Choi started screaming even louder with a "yesssssss" on the Q♦10♣4♥ flop when he made top set. It was followed by an almost crying "noooo" on the J♦ turn. However, Choi then exploded on the 4♣ river and jumped out of his seat to celebrate vividly.
Junzhong Loo was all-in for just 3,800 and Eric Wasylenko called out of the big blind.
Junzhong loo: K♣7♦
Eric Wasylenko: 8♠5♠
The A♠7♥3♠ flop gave Wasylenko a lot of outs and he just smirked, adding "too many outs". Indeed, the 10♦ turn and 2♦ river brought no help to the Canadian and Loo escaped from elimination.
