The kicker problem for Rotholz was never solved on a board of 8♦8♣7♠5♥K♣ as the American was sent to the rail in 27th place.
At the same time over on table three, Lukasz Jankowski four-bet jammed for 295,000 and three-bettor Jin Woo Kim called eventually.

The 8♦7♥6♦Q♥3♠ board brought just one queen and Kim lost more than half of his stack.
Picking up the action on the A♠9♠5♣Q♠ turn, Bo Jin bet 32,000 out of the small blind and Bien Mai called out of the big blind.
Jin also bet the J♦ river for 50,000 only for Mai to raise it up to 179,000. Jin used a time bank to fold and was shown the 3♠.
Two pocket pairs collided over on table one when Jun Young Park and Mauricio Salazar Sanchez got it in preflop with the former at risk.

The Q♥4♥2♥8♣6♣ board left the Colombian with just 13,000 and he was all-in the next hand, picking up multi-way action.
Until the Q♠10♦4♥A♦9♣ river, only Curtis Lim and Andy Li remained in the hand. Lim bet 50,000 and Li folded. Lim tabled the A♥10♥ for two pair and Salazar Sanchez was knocked out with the 4♦2♣, though, the damage had been done moments prior.
With 65,000 preflop and 55,000 each on the Q♥9♣6♣ flop already pulled into the middle of the table, Hal Rotholz then bet the Q♦ turn for 110,000 and Evgenii Nekrasov called from the next seat.
Rotholz checked the 6♥ river with some 12 blinds behind and Nekrasov moved all-in. That sent the American into the tank and he used a time bank extension before folding.
Huu Dung Nguyen raised from under the fun and was called by Ashish Munot in the cutoff. On the Q♦6♣4♠ flop, Nguyen check-raised from 20,000 to 40,000 for Munot to call. Both checked the 3♥ turn and Nguyen's jam on the 7♣ river won the pot uncontested.
In the meanwhile, Ting-Yi Tsai took a pot off Evgenii Nekrasov by betting the A♠7♦4♠J♠ turn for 132,000 while Lukasz Jankowski got through with a three-bet shove versus Ilia Miakishev.
The dealer announced yet another seat open on table three and the chips were pushed towards Ilia Miakishev, who had the A♣Q♠ still exposed. Yunsheng Sun was the player to depart, as he had jammed preflop for 140,000 with the Kx9x and ended up second-best.
Only 28 players remain and there will be a redraw with 24 left, which may very well happen in the current level.
Jia Yi Low moved all-in for the last 40,000 from under the gun and Hua Wei Lin just called in the cutoff. Feng Qu then pushed all-in for around 160,000 in the big blind and Lin snap-called.

Nevan Chang rushed by to witness the showdown of Lin and saw her aces score two knockouts on a board of J♠6♥3♠9♥4♣.
Evgenii Nekrasov three-bet preflop for Ting-Yi Tsai to call in the last hand of the previous level as they headed a few minutes into the break. Tsai check-called a small bet on the 9♣4♥2♠ flop and did so again for 80,000 on the K♠ turn.
After the A♣ river, Tsai checked again and Nekrasov sized down with a bet of just 60,000. Tsai used a time bank extension and said "you could have king-queen" before he sigh-called.
Nekrasov tabled the A♥5♠ and won the pot.
