Walthaus KOs Mooney

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Jorn Walthaus opened with an early position raise. It folded over to Geoffrey Mooney who three-bet all in for 43,800. Action folded all of the way back around the table to Walthaus and he slid forward a call.

Walthaus: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Mooney: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

Walthaus was in a dominating position and stayed that way through a {9-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} run out. Mooney took to the rail and Walthaus increased his stack to 320,000.

Mizzi has Kataev For Lunch

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Dmitry Kataev was in the big blind tangling over a pot with Sorel Mizzi who had called a bet on the flop and was now looking at the turn of a board reading {4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. Kataev bet 25,000 and Mizzi, eating some salmon and greens, made the call.

The river card was the {4-Hearts} and Kataev moved all in. Mizzi asked for a count and took another mouthful of lunch. The bet was 55,000. Mizziu thought it over while he took a few more bites of fish and as soon as he made the call Kataev stood up and flipped over his {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Mizzi showed the {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} to confirm Kataev’s elimination.

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Dimitar Danchev opened under the gun for 5,000 and faced a three-bet to 15,500 from Sunny Jung sat next to him as the blinds folded. Danchev elected to make it 33,000 and Jung made the call after some chip counting.

The flop was [8d 65c 5s]. Danchev bet 22,000 and Jung made the call. The turn came the {a-Clubs} and both players checked to see the river card {7-Clubs}. Danchev checked and Jung moved all in.

Danchev got a count and found out it was 69,000 to call, which he duly did but mucked when he saw the {a-Spades}{q-Spades} of Jung.

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Yaxi Zhu opened the betting from the button for 5,000 and Scott Davies in the big blind raised it to 15,000. Zhu went for a four-bet to 50,000. Davies wasted little time in moving all in for around 12,000.
