Binger Battling Hurst

Binger getting aggressive
Binger getting aggressive
Our feature table currently houses Peter Pratis, Graeme 'KiwiG' Putt, Ryan Hurst, Emanuel Seal, and Michael Binger.

Binger has been doing quite a bit of damage there, including knocking out Peter Aristidou. Most recently he has been building his stack through the hands of Ryan Hurst. Both these two have been playing many pots together, with Binger taking the upper hand.

Most recently, Binger led out for 1,300 on a flop of {9-Spades}{10-Hearts}{K-Spades} and was met with a reraise from Hurst to 4,200. Binger immediately followed it with an all-in reraise of his own for 20,000.

Binger is currently sitting with close to 25,000 chips as we approach the dinner break.

Tahtouh Makes Soul Read

Marlon Goonawardana went into the tank following a bet from Emad Tahtouh on a flop of {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Spades}. He eventually folded.

Before he did, however, Tahtouh taunted Goonawardana saying, "If I can guess your hand then you show, and if you can guess mine then I'll show."

Goonawardana nodded his head in agreement and Tahtouh pondered for a while before blurting out, "Jack-Eight!" Goonawardana tabled his {J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} for a Tahtouh soul read, and as he raked in the pot, Tahtouh proudly showed his {4-Spades}{5-Clubs} for complete air!

Clubs are good for Seal
Clubs are good for Seal

Seal: {A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

The flop fell down {J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} putting Pratis squarly in the lead. Seal was in bad shape, but when it came running clubs in the {8-Clubs} and {5-Clubs}; Seal doubled up as Pratis slipped to 17,000 in chips.

Scary Table?

With another table breaking, Nick Binger has been moved to a table that is currently home to Wesley Whybrew, Gursel Ali, Leo Boxell and Phil Laak.

Binger may be able to handle it, but the unknown player may be finding a hard time with the calibre of players that are surrounding him.

Facing a raise from Tobias Garp of 600, Jonathan 'xMONSTERxDONGx' Karamalikis made it 1,600 total from the small blind and Garp made the call.

On a flop of {A-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, Karamalikis made it 2,500 and Garp reraised to 6,500. Karamalikis moved all in for 8,400 more and Garp tossed in his cards.

Joe Hachem Eliminated

Not so enjoyable anymore
Not so enjoyable anymore
Joe Hachem open shoved for his last 3,925 and found a caller in the big blind.

Hachem: {K-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Opponent: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Hachem found some help on the flop of {A-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, but even before the turn {3-Hearts} had been dealt, Hachem had resigned to his fate, putting his jacket on and making his way out of the poker room. The {A-Diamonds} fell on the river.
