Laybutt Willing to Show

John Laybutt and Clark Hamagami recently tangled in a reasonable sized pot. On a flop of {A-Clubs}

raised to 1,000, and was raised by Hamagami to 3,200.

In a fairly bold move with just top pair, Laybutt three-bet making it 6,200. Hamagami made the call and the two players saw the turn {2-Hearts}

. Hamagami checked to Laybutt, who almost immediately grappled for his chips. In the end Laybutt tossed out a bet of 3,000, which sent Hamagami into the tank.

After a while Hamagami asked, "If I fold will you show?"

"Yes," came the response from Laybutt, prompting Hamagami to open-muck {8-Clubs}

for a flush draw. Laybutt rolled over his top pair and happily began raking in his pot.

Laybutt moves over 33,000.
