Ivan Demidov has quietly amassed a small fortune of chips in today's tournament. His aggressive style backfired for him, however, in a recent hand after joining Harry Demetriou's table right along the rail.

After an early-position player opened to 775, action passed to Demidov in the small blind. He put in the second raise, to 2,250. His opponent, with position on Demidov, made the call. Demidov fired a continuation bet of 3,375 chips on the {8-Clubs}
