The Chips Are Moving

The end of our stalemate looks to be in sight. After Leo Margets threw down the gauntlet by moving her stack in a race situation, we've seen the cards go on their backs again.

This time it would be a battle of the blinds, with Lunardi opening from the small blind to 16,000. Margets called and the flop came {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}.

Lunardi bet out 20,000 and Margets raised to 120,000. Lunardi's response was to move in for 472,000 with Margets making the call.

Lunardi: {Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Margets: {A-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

Lunardi had top pair and a flush draw, while Margets was hoping that her overpair could weave Lunardi's outs.

It couldn't. The {4-Clubs} turn was enough to turn the tide in Lunardi's favour, and the river bricked the {6-Diamonds}.

Lunardi is now the chip leader at 950,000. Margets is back down around 450,000.
