Kerry Stead has just eliminated Paul Birman and Michael Pugh simultaneously to move up to 19,000 in chips.
Birman raised all-in blind from under the gun for 1,800 and the action folded around to Stead who reraised from the cutoff. Pugh four-bet it from the cutoff and Stead called to go heads-up with Pugh into a sidepot on a flop of .
Kerry check-raised after Pugh opened; Pugh called then moved all in after Kerry led out on the turn of the .
Stead called, rolling up for a flopped set of sixes, well ahead of the of Pugh. Birman turned up his hand and showed .
The river was a useless and Stead's hand was good to take the pot down and both players out.
In a three-way pot that was capped before the flop, Dean Blatt led out with a bet that was called by both Steve Krmpotic and William Skountzos.
The fell on the turn and repeat action followed; a bet from Blatt and calls by both Krmpotic and Skountzos.

Vincent Vanderfluit and Marek Kolk had both been at the wrong end of a big pot against David Steicke; as a result they have both been eliminated in the space of a few hands.

An unidentified person approached Gary Benson's table and put a bounty on his head. Benson was only sitting with 2,000 in chips at the time, but that didn't seem to matter to the money putter-upper.
"Drinks, food... whatever knocks him out!" the man announced.
Michael Dix took him up on the offer.
Benson opened with a raise from under-the-gun in what was his final hand. Action then folded around to Dix in the small blind who three-bet, and Benson called off his last 400 in chips:

David Lucchia has recently been eliminated from the tournament by Josh Wilson.
