Milan Gurung Eliminated In 14th (AUD$8,520)

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante
Milan Gurung - 14th place
Milan Gurung - 14th place

Vito Dalessandri made it 55,000 from under the gun. With action folded around to Milan Gurung on the button, he moved allin for 263,000. A snap call from Dalessandri and Gurung's tournament life would be on the line.

Gurung: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Dalessandri: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Gurung would need some help.

Board: {5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

No help for Gurung who was sent home in 14th place, taking with him AUD$8,520.

Dalessandri has now cracked a million-plus stack, sitting behind 1,100,000.

Mitchell Pavletich Eliminated in 15th Place (AUD$8,520)

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante
Mitchell Pavletich  - 15th place
Mitchell Pavletich - 15th place

Martin Kozlov entered the pot with a raise to 41,000 only to have Martin Drewe three-bet to 96,000 from the hi-jack.

With the action on Mitchell Pavletich in the cutoff, he moved all in for roughly 300,000 to force a fold from Kozlov but a call from Drewe.

Drewe: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Pavletich: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}

The flop of {8-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{A-Spades} gave Pavletich a strong lead in the hand, but when the {7-Hearts} peeled on the turn he would be forced to face a heart-sweat on the river.

Unfortunately for Pavletich, the {6-Hearts} spiked on the river to end his tournament in 15th place for a AUD$8,520 collect as Drewe climbs to 1,500,000 in chips.

Stack Grows Ever Higher

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Justin Cohen raised to 50,000 from under the gun and garnered a call from Mitchell Pavletich on the button.

Flop: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

A check from Cohen and a 50,000 bet from Pavletich. Call and a turn to come.

Turn: {7-Hearts}

Check. Check.

River: {a-Spades}

Cohen then led out for 150,000. Pavletich folded and Cohen added to his ever growing stack. Cohen now has a monster 1,450,000

Montgomery Moves Back

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Scott Montgomery was in early position when he made it 48,000. Martin Drewe, from the cutoff, re-raised to 115,000. The two have begun to develop a Dean Martin-Jerry Lewis like relationship. Except with less singing and more raising.

At this stage Montgomery moved all-in, doing his Full Tilt patch proud. Drewe snap folded and Montgomery took down the pot, moving to 920,000. Drewe drops to around 1,150,000.

Bechara Spikes River

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Isaac Lau opened to 45,000 from the hi-jack only to have Antoine Bechara move all in for 249,000 from the cutoff.

With the action on South African Darren Kramer, he four-bet shoved for over 690,000 and Lau opted to fold.

Kramer: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Bechara: {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

With Bechara dominated and needing to spike to stay alive, the {K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{Q-Spades} still saw him trailing, but left him with backdoor outs to improve, along with any ten.

The turn of the {A-Clubs} was one of those outs he needed, as one of the four remaining jacks in the deck would ensure survival.

Dink! The {J-Diamonds} was slapped on the river by the dealer to see Bechara remain alive with close to 600,000 as Kramer slipped to 440,000 in chips.

Gurung: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Board: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

Dalessandri's hand holds and he doubles to 770,000, while Gurung moves to around 450,000.
