Seven Card Stud

We were unable to catch the exact hand, but Gary Benson was all in for his ante and was unable to ride some luck to stay alive as Angie Italiano collected the pot.

Who Are You?

Level 4

"You look familiar? Do I know you?" asked a player in the direction of Mel Judah.

With over $3,200,000 in earnings, two WSOP bracelets, four Aussie Millions titles, one WPT title and a place in Australia's Poker Hall of Fame, Judah technically has made it . . . too bad this player in question doesn't realize so!

Two Pair for Aristidou

Level 3

Limit Holdem

Peter Aristidou limped in from under the gun as both blinds completed and checked their options - one of which was Harry Demetriou from the big.

The {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop was checked through to see the {k-Hearts} on the turn and Demetriou push out 400 with Aristidou making the call.

The {A-Hearts} on the river was checked through to see Demetriou table his {Q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, but it would be Aristidou's {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} that would see him collect the pot and move to 2,900 in chips.

Obst Out

Level 3
James Obst
James Obst

Pot Limit Omaha

James Obst made it more expensive for his table preflop by upping the ante as everyone made the call.

On a {K-}{J-Diamonds}(X) flop with two diamonds, he found himself all in hold {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}(X)(X) against Sam Khouiss and his {A-}{K-}{Q-}(X).

The {10-} on the turn gave Obst a full house draw to go along with his diamonds as Khouiss' turned Broadway straight kept him in the lead.

The river blanked out, and Obst was forced to hit the rail as Khouiss soared to near the 20,000-chip mark.

Serock Silenced

Level 3
Joseph Serock
Joseph Serock

Pot Limit Omaha

Harry Demetriou and Peter Aristidou limped in before Joseph Serock upped it to 725 from the button.

Jarred Solomon made the call from the small blind, as did Demetriou and Aristidou to see a {J-Spades}{9-}{8-Spades} flop that featured two spades.

Serok continued for 2,400 and Demetriou potted all-in to force folds from Aristdou and Solomon before Serok committed roughly his entire 7,900-chip stack.

Serok: {Q-}{J-}{9-}{6-Spades} (with two spades)
Demetriou: {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{10-}{7-}

With Serok needing to see a jack or nine repeat to stay alive, the {7-Spades} on the turn would render his tournament over as the {4-Spades} landed on the river.

Marsters Mauled

Level 3
Tim "TurnRiva" Marsters
Tim "TurnRiva" Marsters

Pot Limit Omaha

We just witnessed Tim "TurnRiva" Marsters exiting the tournament, and consequently we approached his table to see if we could drum up some details on his elimination.

Noticing Sean Dunwoodie had over 23,000 in his stack, we assumed that he was Marsters' murderer and went to him for the potentially gruesome details of his demise.

Trung Tran opened the cutoff to 300 and Dunwoodie made the call before Marsters bumped it to 1,300. Tran folded but Dunwoodie made the call before a series of bets and raises on the {J-}{3-}{4-} rainbow flop saw Marsters all in.

Dunwoodie: {5-}{5-}{3-}{2-}
Marsters: {A-}{A-}{6-}(X)

Straight away on the turn, the {6-} would spike to end Marsters tournament as a blank fell on the river.
