It's Tightening Up!

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

With the chip counts now starting to spread out a bit more evenly, the action has slowed down considerably at this final table, but the pots are getting larger with the increase in the blinds!

Tim O'Shea raised under the gun to 55,000 and the action folded around to Andrew Hinrichsen who called from the big blind, before check-calling O'Shea's bet of 65,000 after the flop of {7-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}.

Hinrichsen checked again on the turn of the {Q-Hearts}; O'Shea opened for 135,000 and Hinrichsen folded. That's about all we've got, really.

O'Shea Takes Chips Away from Dhringa

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Tim O'Shea has taken another bite out of Gautam Dhringa's stack only moments before the new blind level as we continue six-handed in (funnily enough) this six-handed event.

Dhringa raised to 34,000 from under the gun and found only one caller in the form of O'Shea to go heads up to a flop of {6-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{K-Spades}. Dhringa opened for 44,000 and O'Shea called before the dealer rolled up the turn of the {8-Spades}, where O'Shea shoved after Dhringa fired out 85,000.

Dhringa reluctantly let his hand go and O'Shea has now brought Dhringa back to around 900,000 in chips.

Hinrichsen Robs Dhringa

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Andrew Hinrichsen has moved up to over 720,000 in chips after stealing a chunk of change off Gautam Dhringa.

The action folded to Jackson Zheng who raised from the cutoff; he found two callers in Dhringa and Hinrichsen before all three players checked the flop of {5-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

Dhringa then led out for 47,000 on the turn of the {10-Spades} and Hinrichsen quickly called before Zheng folded, making it heads-up to the river of the {Q-Hearts}, which saw Dhringa fire out 112,000.

Hinrichsen called and Dhringa quickly tabled his cards, but they were just as quickly mucked by the dealer after Hinrichsen showed {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}! As a result, Dhringa is down to just over 1.035 million in chips.

The Big Stacks Clash

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Tim O'Shea and Gautam Dhingra have just clashed in a recent pot on the final table of this event, with O'Shea coming out on top to almost 800,000 in chips.

The action folded to Dhringa who raised to 34,000 from the button. O'Shea called from the big blind, then both players checked down the flop of {A-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and the turn of the {8-Hearts} before O'Shea led out for 87,000 on the river of the {5-Hearts}.

Dhringa couldn't have gotten his money in there any faster, but whether that was the right thing to do was made all too clear after O'Shea showed down {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for trips. However, Dhringa is still well out in front with just under 1.3 million chips.

Zheng Scores More Through O'Shea

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Jackson Zheng has just moved up to more than 390,000 in chips after doubling through Tim O'Shea.

O'Shea raised from early position with {J-Spades}{10-Clubs} and the action folded to Zheng who shoved with {Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. O'Shea called, but he was unable to improve on the board of {7-Clubs}{K-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and is now sitting on a stack of around 700,000.

Still at six players, y'all.
