Lee Dents Moorman

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Cliff Lee (during action yesterday)
Cliff Lee (during action yesterday)

"You again Chris!" announced Cliff Lee as Chris Moorman opened the cutoff to 20,000.

"269,000 all in!" added Lee as he moved in his chip stack.

The blinds passed, and Moorman deliberated for a while before making the call.

Moorman: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Lee: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

With the local tournament regular at risk, Lee was happy to see the {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop fall to see him flop top set. On the flipside however, Moorman's outs had increased from six to nine as any club would see him take the lead.

The {J-Spades} on the turn saw Moorman pick up a straight draw, but when the {3-Diamonds} landed on the river, he slipped to 400,000 as Lee soared to 540,000 in chips.

Christopher Sparks Eliminated in 31st Place (AUD$30,000)

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Christopher Sparks and Sam Razavi got all the chips in the middle preflop with Razavi the player at risk. Sparks held the {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Razavi the {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}.

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Sparks was crushed all the way down to 54,000 in chips while Razavi yet out a yell and doubled to 681,000.

On the next hand, Sparks was all in with the {K-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. He was called by Manny Stavropoulos with the {A-Diamonds}{Q-}. The board ran out {J-Spades}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{A-Spades} to eliminate Sparks and send the field down to 30 players. Sparks walked away with AUD$30,000 while everyone remaining now has a prize jump to AUD$35,000.

I Call Time... On Myself

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

"Are you going to shove if I raise?" asked Chris Moorman to his fellow blind opponent Cliff Lee.

Lee responded with a yes, but that didn't prevent Moorman making it 22,000 from the small blind.

Lee instantly responded by shoving his 250,000-chip stack into the pot to put Moorman deep into the tank.

Several minutes went by before Moorman called the clock on himself, and once that reached the last few seconds, he open folded his {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}.

Lee flashed his {A-Diamonds} and pushed his stack to just shy of 300,000 in chips.

It was limp city on table twenty-five as four players saw a {3-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} flop.

Tyler Bonkowski fired out 15,000 from the button before Randy Dorfman bumped it to 35,000 with only Bonkowski making the call.

Dorfman led for 65,000 when the {5-Hearts} landed on the turn only to have Bonkowski up it to 145,000. Dorfman called and both players checked the {4-Spades} on the river to see Bonkowski's {A-Clubs}{3-Spades} bested by Dorfman's {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

As Bonkowski slips to 310,000, Dorfman climbed to 1,400,000 in chips.

Heath Backs Into Flush

On the board of {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts}, Eli Heath fired 87,000 and was called by James Keys to see the {2-Hearts} fall on the turn. With a fourth heart now on a paired board, Heath bet 132,000 after some time in the tank. Keys almost immediately looked him up.

Heath tabled the {K-Hearts}{7-Spades} having flopped middle pair and backing into a flush. Keys mucked his hand and didn't look happy about it.

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

With some chips in the pot and the flop reading {8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, Patrik Antonius check-called 21,000 before the {3-Spades} and {4-Spades} on the turn and river were checked through.

Tobias Reinkemeier tabled his {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}, but it would be Antonius' {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs} that would see him collect the pot and move to 910,000 in chips.

From under the gun, Michael Ryan raised to 20,000. Patrik Antonius made the call from the button and the flop came down {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Ryan checked and Antonius checked behind.

Sorel Mizzi opened to 17,000 from under the gun only to have chip leader Randy Dorfman bump it to 42,000 from the button.

Mizzi smooth-called as the {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop fell and he proceeded to check-call 36,000 before the {A-Diamonds} spiked on the turn.

As Dorfman fired out another barrel - this time for 62,000 - Mizzi made the call before leading for 150,000 when the river landed the {8-Hearts}.

Dorfman went into the tank for nearly two minutes before laying his hand down while slipping to 1,280,000 as Mizzi climbs to 700,000 in chips.
