Moorman Folds River

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Chris Moorman raised to 30,000 from the hijack seat and Cliff Lee called from the cutoff. The flop came down {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Moorman bet 50,000. Lee made the call.

The turn brought the {3-Spades} and both players checked to see the {J-Clubs} fall on the river. Moorman checked and Lee fired 125,000. Moorman gave it up.

Trip Kings Ain't Enough!

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Patrik Antonius opened to 27,000 only to have Sorel Mizzi three-bet to 71,000 from the button to put the action back on Antonius.

"How much you playing?" asked Antonius to Mizzi, and he he responded by saying, "900 or so."

After a few moments of deliberation, Antonius made the call and checked the {J-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} flop as Mizzi pushed out a 110,000-chip continuation-bet.

A stone-face Antonius shuffled his chips for nearly ninety seconds before sliding in the allotted amount of chips to make the call as both players checked the {9-Hearts} on the turn.

With the dealer dropping the {K-Hearts} on the river, Antonius took his full measure of time - roughly another ninety seconds - before tapping the table just once as Mizzi quickly checked behind.

The dealer announced trip kings when Mizzi tabled his hand (that wasn't shown clear enough on the TV screens), but it would be Antonius' {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} that would see him collect the pot and climb to 1,520,000 as Mizzi slipped to 750,000.

"I was thinking why couldn't the river be an off-suit king you know!" announced Mizzi the following hand.

Reinkemeier, Antonius Chop

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Tobias Reinkemeier and Eli Heath from the feature table

Tobias Reinkemeier opened to 26,000 only to have feature table-nemesis Patrik Antonius three-bet to 81,000 from the small blind.

Reinkemeier responded by moving all in for 344,000 as Antonius headed into the think tank. His eyes darted round, and he licked his lips before eventually announcing a call.

Reinkemeier: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Antonius: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

With an impending chop likely, the {6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop gave Reinkemeier a backdoor flush draw.

"Freeroll!" stated one of the players.

"Diamonds anyone?" asked Reinkemeier as the {7-Diamonds} landed on the turn to see both players sweat the river.

Unfortunately for Reinkemeier, it would be the {8-Hearts} to see him miss out on his major suckout as the pot was chopped up.

"Mark Vos gets knocked out and you fade diamonds. Couldn't get any better" stated a player on the table to Antonius.

"Mark Vos got knocked out?" asked Antonius.

"Which one you more happier about?" stated David Menz.

"Mark Vos getting knocked out!" laughed off Antonius.

Mark Vos Eliminated in 18th Place (AUD$70,000)

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Mark Vos - 18th place
Mark Vos - 18th place

From the cutoff seat, Mark Vos raised to 26,000. Tyler Bonkowski moved all in for 172,000 from the button and Vos made the call.

Vos: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Bonkowski: {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}

The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and Bonkowski's set of threes gave him the double up. Vos was left with just 50,000 in chips.

On the next hand, Vos moved all in and Bonkowski reraised all in for 372,000 to knock everyone else out of the way. Everyone folded.

Vos: {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Bonkowski: {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The board ran through {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{K-Spades} and Bonkowski's straight did the deed to send Vos to the rail. Back-to-back hands against Bonkowski and Vos was sent to the rail in 18th place for AUD$70,000.

Lee Can't Beat Fours

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Shane Sigsbee raised from the cutoff seat and made it 28,000 to go. Cliff Lee called from the small blind and Sam Razavi called from the big blind. The three of them took a flop of {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and action checked around to see the {10-Hearts} fall on the turn. Action checked around again.

The river completed the board with the {7-Spades} to pair the board. Lee bet 40,000 and Razavi called. Sigsbee folded.

Lee mucked to Razavi's {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and lost the pot.

Moorman Wins with Continuation Bet

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Chris Moorman raised from under the gun to 30,000. Cliff Lee called from the next seat and everyone else folded. These two big stacks of over a million each saw the flop come down {J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. With two hockey sticks on board and a couple diamonds, Moorman bet out 50,000. His continuation bet worked as Lee gave it up, showing that {A-Spades} as he folded.

Antonius Flushed with Chips

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Patrik Antonius (from yesterday)
Patrik Antonius (from yesterday)

Patrik Antonius opened to 27,000 and Tobias Reinkemeier made the call from the big blind to see a {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop fall.

Reinkemeier checked and Antonius fired out 35,000 with Reinkemeier making the call as the {2-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Reinkemeier checked for a second time before Antonius slid out a bet of 100,000.

With his gazed affixed on Antonius' bet for nearly a minute, Reinkemeier made the call as the repeat {2-Clubs} landed on the river.

Again Reinkemeier checked as Antonius slid in a bet of 185,000 to push Reinkemeier out of his statue-esque pose as his head switched focus from Antonius then to his chips, then back at Antonius.

The German quietly announced call, but sighed when Antonius tabled his {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a flush.

As Reinkemeier slipped to 330,000, Antonius surged up the leaderboard to sit with 1,320,000 in chips.
