More Rebuys

With just 10 minutes left in the rebuy period, the chips are flying. Sorel Mizzi was crippled when his {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} failed to hold against his opponent {A-Spades}{J-Hearts} on a {J-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades} board. The very next hand Mizzi busted and called for a rebuy.

Likewise, Randy Dorfman rebought after he got all in preflop for 2,225 with {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and was up against the {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} of the cutoff. Dorfman failed to hit and was last seen reaching into his pocket.

Ace on the River for Elpayaa

A middle-position player opened for 500 and JP Kelly called from the hijack. Joe Elpayaa then moved all in from the cutoff for 800, which the MP player called. Kelly then came over the top witha raise to 2,300, which forced the MP player out.

Showdown
Elpayaa: {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Kelly: {J-Spades}{J-Spades}

Elpayaa began collecting his things and stood from his chair as the flop came down {8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{9-Hearts}. The {2-Diamonds} turn took Elpayaa to the brink of elimination, but the {A-Spades} spiked on the river to pull him back. Elpayaa tripled to around 2,600.
