Ben Lingenfelder Elmininated in 6th Place ($15,400 AUD)

Tom Middleton opened the action to 35,000 from the button and this is when Ben Lingenfelder shoved all in for 202,000. Middleton thought for some time before flipping his {a-Spades}{4-Spades} over, making the call. Lingenfelder held {q-Spades}{9-Spades} and would need some help or he would be heading home.

The {q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop gave Lingenfelder the lead, but the {a-Clubs} on the turn put Middleton back out in front. The river bricked out and Lingenfelder was sent home in 6th place.

Million Dollar Man

Joel Dodd's amazing start to this final table has continued with another pot win that saw his stack grow to 1,100,000.

He peeled from the big blind after Kosta Mamaliadis raised from the button. The flop fell {7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and Dodds check-called a 51,000 c-bet. Both players checked the {j-Diamonds} turn before Dodds led for 57,000 on the {4-Hearts} river. Mamaliadis tank-called but mucked upon seeing his opponent's {a-Spades}{9-Clubs} for top pair.

Cockburn Five Bets His Way Back

Craig Cockburn lost a fair chunk of his stack after getting bet out of a few recent pots. The latest hand has seen Cockburn take some of those chips back. Peter Skouteris opened the action, before Cockburn three-bet to 88,000. Tom Middleton then four-bet to 175,000. Skouteris got out of the way and this is when Cockburn five-bet all in. This act of aggression sent Middleton's cards quickly into the muck.

Xin Zhao Eliminated in 7th Place ($9,625)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

This six-max tournament is back tot where it should be - six handed. Xin Zhao was the player who bubbled the official final table.

He open shoved for around 200,000 from the cut-off and was given action by Joel Dodds who re-shoved from the small blind. This was enough to get it heads up and the cards were on their backs.

Zhao: {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Dodds: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The board ran {8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{q-Clubs} to pair Dodd's jack on the turn. He moved up to 775,000 chips as a result.

Can Never Be Too Careful

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Craig Cockburn opened the pot with a raise from early position and was called in four spots en route to a {5-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. Peter Skouteris was second to act in the big blind and he opened jammed for lots (about 400k). All four of his opponents folded. The man from Sydney opened {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a flopped flush.

Five Bet Followed

Craig Cockburn has yet again been on the losing end of some extensive pre-flop raising. Cockburn opened from the cut-off only to see his bet raised by Kosta Mamaliadis in the small-blind. Cockburn came back over the top but his bet was swiftly met by an "all-in" call from Mamaliadis. Cockburn's cards hit the muck even quicker.

Cockburn has now slipped from the chip-lead.
