Four Bet to Victory

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

Action folded around to Joel Dodds on the button, which prompted a bet of 24,000. Craig Cockburn wasn't convinced of Dodds holdings, so he put him to the test with a raise to 69,000. Dodds came right back over the top, and Cockburn swiftly mucked.

If Anyone Can, Kosta Can

Xin Zhao is down to 230,000 chips after doubling up Kosta Mamaliadis. Zhao raised to 24,000 from UTG and Mamaliadis defended his big blind to see a {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop.

Zhao's 26,000 c-bet was check-called by Mamaliadis before the latter checked the {7-Hearts} turn in the dark. He then faced a 42,000 bet that he check-raised up to 107,000. Zhao called and then called off his remaining 200,000 when Zhao shoved on the river. Zhao snap mucked and Kosta tabled {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for a rivered full house.

Stefan Jedlicka Elminated in 8th Place ($6,970 AUD)

Stefan Jedlicka was left with a tiny stack after losing a flip against Xin Zhao a few hands ago and as such he didn't have many decisions to make over the last couple of hands.

Jedlicka shoved his 22,000-chip stack in from under the gun and received calls from both Peter Skouteris and Xin Zhao in the blinds.

Zhao: {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Skouteris: {j-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Jedlicka: {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

When the board ran out {8-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, it was all over in 8th palce for Jedlicka as the players now take to a final table of seven.

Can't Win a Flip

For the third time today, Stefan Jedlicka has lost a race. A recent hand saw Xin Zhao open the pot from the button. The open was for almost half Zhao's stack and after some thought, Jedlicka shoved his stack all in. Zhao made the snap-call and the two players turned their hands over.

Zhao: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Jedlicka: {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

When the board ran out {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts}, Jedlicka found no help and sits with only a couple of big blinds.

Lingenfelder Back Alive

Ben Lingenfelder is now sitting with a much healthier stack after a double-up came courtesy of mega chip leader, Craig Cockburn.

Cockburn opened the action to 24,000 from the button and Joel Dodds flat called in the small blind. This is when Lingenfelder shoved his stack all in. Cockburn thought for a few minutes before making the call. With Dodds' cards in the muck, Cockburn tabled his {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}, needing some help against the {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} of Lingenfelder.

A board full of bricks was safe for Lingenfelder as he took down the double-up, while Cockburn took a small hit to his stack.

Darren Kramer Eliminated in 9th Place ($6,970 AUD)

When the action was folded to Darren Kramer in the small blind he shoved his stack of around 170,000 into Craig Cockburn in the big blind.

Craig had a quick look at Kramer's stack and decided to make the call, turning over his {a-Spades}{5-Hearts} when Kramer tabled his {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}.

When the board ran out {8-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, no help came for Kramer as he was sent home in 9th place. Cockburn is now well and truly the chip leader, with his stack towering above all others in the field.

Stefan Doubles A Couple

Stefan Jedlicka has just doubled up a couple of players. First it was Xin Zhao who took down a large portion of Jedlicka's stack. Zhao held {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and was all-in preflop against the {a-Clubs}{2-Spades} of Jedlicka. Zhao managed to flop a straight and took down the double-up.

A few hands later and Jedlicka had Peter Skouteris all in. Jedlicka was again in front, this time holding {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} against Skouteris' {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. When Skouteris picked up running sevens on the turn and river, he took down the double-up and left Jedlicka with around half of what he came back from the break with.
