Vinecombe then announced a raise to 2,500 but tossed in 4,500 worth of chips instead. As the verbal announcement counts, it stood as 2,500 and the opponent reluctantly called with for a nine-high flush.

. The action was checked to Sreenivasan and he bet 1,800.
The hijack check-raised to 4,000 and Sreenivasan slowly but carefully reached into his chips, then announced a raise and gently put in one yellow and three blue chips for a raise to 8,000. His opponent gave it some thought for around 30 seconds and elected to fold.
