Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Linh Tran raised to 13,000 on the button and Daniel Hachem flat-called in the small blind before the action reached Doug Corning in the big blind. He moved all in for 88,000 and Tran called rather quickly, Hachem let go.

Corning: {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Tran: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

The player at risk improved on the flop {Q-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and stayed in the lead with the {10-Diamonds} turn and {8-Diamonds} river as final two community cards.

Pezzaniti Paid

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Daniel Hachem made it 13,000 and Frank Pezzaniti jammed it in from the big blind.

Hachem called with the {a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Pezzaniti's tournament life was riding on the {k-Spades}{q-Spades}.

Pezzaniti murdered the {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{k-Hearts} flop and his boat held through the {10-Hearts} turn and {3-Spades} river, doubling him up.

Pallas Aidinian Eliminated in 6th Place ($8,300)

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Pallas Aidinian
Pallas Aidinian

The new level started rather tight with barely any action until the second round of Pot-Limit Omaha kicked in. Linh Tran raised to 12,000, Daniel Hachem called and then Pallas Aidinian squeezed all in from the big blind. Tran re-potted and Hachem quickly folded to see the last woman in the field at risk for just under 100,000 chips.

Aidinian: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Tran: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

The flop {Q-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} was no good for Aidinian and she was drawing dead once the {5-Diamonds} fell on the turn. Only a six would avoid her being sent to the rail, but the {10-Clubs} river was a brick and reduced the field to the last five hopefuls.

Pezzaniti Gets Short

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

On the three-way limped pot in Pot-Limit Omaha, Frank Pezzaniti bet the flop {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts} out of the small blind for 15,000. Daniel Hachem called, Linh Tran folded. The {5-Clubs} on the turn saw Pezzaniti bet another 20,000 and he quickly folded to the shove of Hachem to leave himself short.

Updated Counts

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

On the flop {Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop, Daniel Hachem and Linh Tran both invested 17,000 chips before checking the {K-Spades} turn. On the {3-Clubs} river, Tran then bet 33,000 and scooped the pot without showdown. Below are the current chip counts.

Dominik Nitsche Eliminated in 7th Place ($6,915)

No-Limit Hold'em

Linh Tran made it 10,000 and Daniel Hachem three-bet to 24,000 before Dominik Nitsche four-bet jammed for over 100,000.

Tran pushed all in for more and Hachem folded.

Tran: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Nitsche: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

It was a classic cooler, but Nitsche ended up on the wrong end of it after the {j-Hearts}{a-Spades}{5-Spades} flop made Tran a set. Thr {5-Hearts} turn and {3-Clubs} river could not save Nitsche and as he hit the rail, Tran moved into the chip lead.

Pump Up the Jam!

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

After a four-way pot to the flop {9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}, Dominik Nitsche moved all in out of the big blind in a hand of Pot-Limit Omaha. The shove was for 69,000 and the pot had already exceeded that with around 92,000 chips up for grabs. Ultimately, Mohammed Afiouni, Frank Pezzaniti and Daniel Hachem all folded to award the pot to the German.

"Show the bluff!" Afiouni demanded and Nitsche obliged to reveal {J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a pair of nines and gutshot.

Aidinian Gets Pezzaniti to Fold

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

On the three-way turn {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}, Frank Pezzaniti bet 30,000 and all opponents folded to get shown the {10-Hearts}.

Shortly after, Pezzaniti was involved in a three-way pot with Daniel Hachem and Pallas Aidinian in the blinds. The {J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop saw Aidinian bet 10,000 and just Pezzaniti called before then giving up the {6-Spades} turn to another bet worth 25,000, he flashed the {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flush draw and mucked the other two hole cards while Aidinian raked in the pot.
