Ward Busts to Williams

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Paul Ward
Paul Ward

From the small blind, Paul Ward moved all in for what looked like 80,000 chips. Frank Williams peeked at his cards and then called with the players heading into the following showdown:

Ward: {K-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Williams: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

The door card was a great one for Ward with the {K-Spades}, pairing his king. It was followed by the {J-Spades}{2-Spades}, but the {10-Diamonds} on the turn gave Williams a straight. Ward needed to pair his hole cards to avoid elimination, however the {A-Clubs} river was a blank for the Aussie.

The remaining 10 players are now united for the unofficial final table.

Yustinus Tips Gupta

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Karib Yustinus
Karib Yustinus

Piyush Gupta called a Karib Yustinus preflop raise in position on the button.

He called another 26,000-chip bet on the {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop. But when Yustinus checked the {q-Hearts} turn, Gupta led for 37,000.

Yustinus check-raised to 87,000 and Gupta slowly called. On the {8-Spades} river, Yustinus led right out for 140,000, putting Gupta to a decision for all his chips.

After four minutes in the tank, he folded.

Williams Fires Two Barrels

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The action folded to Frank Williams and he raised to 24,000 from the small blind. Karib Yustinus called in the big blind and they headed to the flop of {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Williams continued for 31,000 and Yustinus made the call to see the {6-Hearts} appear on the turn. Williams took his time before announcing all in and Yustinus asked for a count.

The dealer did his duty and the shove was for a total of 207,000. Yustinus had just about double of that left and mucked eventually.

Three Times No Charm For Bechim

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Mufit Bechim
Mufit Bechim

Mufit Bechim shoved twice with no callers, but the third time he tried, Alex Grocott looked him up with the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}.

Bechim had the dominated {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, but found no joy on the {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} run out, saying goodbye 12th.

Bouskila Busts to Yustinus

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Michael Bouskila
Michael Bouskila

In the very last hand of the level over on table 34, Karib Yustinus raised and Michael Bouskila defended his big blind. The flop came {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Bouskila check-raised big by investing 100,000 already. Yustinus shoved and Bouskila called it off:

Bouskila: {Q-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Yustinus: {8-Clubs}{4-Spades}

Neither the {6-Clubs} turn nor the {2-Clubs} river changed anything whatsoever and Bouskila headed to the payout desk, sending his stack of 167,000 over to Yustinus.
