Bobby Zhang Eliminated in 10th Place (AU$120,000)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Bobby Zhang - 10th Place
Bobby Zhang - 10th Place

At the outer table, KC Wong opened for 90,000 from the cutoff and Yuki Ko three-bet jammed from the button. When action reached Bobby Zhang in the big blind, he looked down at his cards and announced that he was all in, calling off for right around 900,000. Wong quickly folded and the cards were turned up.

Zhang: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Ko: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Zhang was looking to dodge an ace or some other strange runout, and he did on the {5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop. Unfortunately for him, the dealer burned and turned the {A-Hearts} to pair Ko. The {J-Spades} river was no help to Zhang, and he hit the rail in tenth place.

Ari Engel Pushes

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

KC Wong opened the action with a raise to 90,000 under the gun. Ari Engel in the big blind was the only caller and they got {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} as a flop to work with.

Engel lead out for 95,000 and Wong made the call. Engel bet another 180,000 on the {10-Hearts} turn and Wong carefully cut out 450,000 and moved them forward.

Engel contemplated what to do for just half a minute or so, before pushing all in. Wong, who's face is still buried in a rain coat by the way, smiled and folded.

Lynskey Doubles With Ace-Queen Through Ace-King

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Alexander Lynskey opened to 60,000 from the cutoff and his neighbor Tony Dunst three-bet to (what believe was) 160,000 on the button. Both blinds released and action was back on Lynskey. He pushed all in for 995,000 and Dunst immediately called.

Tony Dunst: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}
Alexander Lynskey: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

Lynskey was dominated but out flopped Dunst: {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. His rail asked for a deuce but got a {6-Spades} and {J-Hearts} - just as good. Double up for Lynskey.

Engel's Jack Ten is Good Enough

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Ari Engel raised to 70,000 from first position and Yuki Ko made the call on the button before Bobby Zhang came along to see a flop as well.

On {3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} Zhang checked to Engel who made a continuation bet of 90,000. Ko quickly released but Zhang had bigger plans. He check raised to 240,000 and Engel made the call.

The {4-Hearts} on the turn saw Zhang check. Engel bet 255,000 and Zhang made the call.

The {8-Diamonds} completed the board and Zhang checked. Engel checked behind and immediately showed his {10-Hearts}{J-Hearts} for top pair. Zhang mucked just as quick.

Kitty Takes from the Honeyman

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Dylan Honeyman raised to 90,000 from the small blind and Kitty Kuo called from the big. The {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop saw Honeyman continue for 65,000, Kuo call, and the dealer burn and turn the {7-Diamonds}.

Honeyman check-called a bet of 140,000 and then both players checked the {5-Spades} river. Kuo tabled the {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, and it was good as Honeyman sent his hand to the muck.
