Yotsushika Pays Off Kanit

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Kazuhiko Yotsushita raised to 10,500 and Mustapha Kanit defended his big blind, then checked the flop of {J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. Yotsushita checked behind and bet the {A-Clubs} turn for 15,000 when Kanit checked to him once more, the Italian called.

After the {2-Diamonds} river, Kanit bet 85,000 and Yotsushita gave it plenty of consideration before calling. Kanit rolled over the {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a flush and that was good enough to win the pot.

Salter Jams Up Stack

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Kitty Kuo gave up a three-bet pot against Brian Yoon and the latter soon after called a raise to 14,000 by Jan-Eric Schwippert. Yoon checked his option in the small blind on the {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{Q-Clubs} flop and Schwippert checked behind. The {5-Spades} turn went check, check, and Yoon's bet of 22,000 on the {8-Hearts} river won the pot uncontested.

Ban Lamb raised to 11,500 and Roger Teska three-bet to 27,000. Jack Salter four-bet all in and Lamb folded, while Teska asked for a count. Once it was deemed to be for 207,000, Teska also sent his cards into the muck.

Yap Folds to the Aggression of Yotsushika

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Picking up the action on the {J-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop, Wayne Yap checked out of the big blind and faced a bet of 20,000 by Kazuhiko Yotsushika. Yap check-raised to 46,500 and Yotsushika called. On the {6-Clubs} turn, Yap checked again and a bet of 50,000 by Yotsushika did the trick to win the pot.

Yotsushika Doubles Through Segebrecht

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Kazuhiko Yotsushika
Kazuhiko Yotsushika

Kazuhiko Yotsushika raised to 12,000 and Claas Segebrecht three-bet to 38,000 from the button. With the action back on Yotsushika, he took his time, with Mustapha Kanit eventually calling time.

Yotsushika then four-bet to 88,000. Segebrecht moved all in and Yotsushika nodded before calling.

Kazuhiko Yotsushika: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Claas Segebrecht: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

There was a King on the flop of {7-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{9-Spades} giving Segebrecht the lead, but Yotsushika clapped his hands together in celebration when the {j-Clubs} came on the turn. The river {a-Diamonds} rubbed salt in the wounds of Segebrech who handed over 190,500 chips to his opponent.

A Double Up for Salter

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Jonathan Karamalikis & Jack Salter
Jonathan Karamalikis & Jack Salter

First to act, Jack Salter announced all in and Ben Lamb in the cutoff asked for a count. Salter's shove was for 82,500 and Lamb moved all in over the top to isolate successfully.

Jack Salter: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Ben Lamb: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

While the flop of {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts} gave Lamb top pair, it was still no good as Salter had middle set and locked up the double on the {K-Clubs} turn. A meaningless {2-Spades} on the river was a formality and the Brit was back in contention.

Huber Takes from Zinkevich

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

On the tail end of a hand between Stefan Huber in the big blind and Yury Zinkevich in the cutoff, the completed board showed {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. With some 40,000 in the middle, Huber bet 50,000 and Zinkevich called. Huber turned over the {9-Spades}{5-Spades} for trips fives and claimed the pot.

Michael Addamo

Jack Salter raised to 16,500 on the button and Michael Addamo three-bet all in for 129,500 from the small blind. Ben Lamb folded the big blind and Salter made the call.

Jack Salter: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Michael Addamo: {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}

There was an Ace on the flop of {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Hearts} meaning Salter took the lead. The turn however was the {3-Diamonds} giving Addamo a set and the river was the {9-Spades} securing Addamo his double-up.

Schwippert Takes from Zinkevich

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Yury Zinkevich raised to 10,500 from the button and was called by Jan-Eric Schwippert in the small blind. Schwippert check-called two bets, on the {8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop and another one for 30,000 on the {6-Clubs} turn for 30,000. Zinkevich checked behind on the {J-Hearts} river and his {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for a busted straight draw ended up second best to Schwippert's {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

Zinkevich three-bet twice after to get some chips back without showdown though.

Westmorland Eliminated After Runner-Runner Straight

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Jordan Westmorland
Jordan Westmorland

It folded to Rory Young in the small blind, and with Jordan Westmorland holding a stack of around 20bb in the big blind, Young moved all in. Westmorland called.

Rory Young: {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Jordan Westmorland: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Westmorland had woken up with a big hand and the flop came {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}, with Young reaching to take his all-in bet back and count out the chips for his opponent's seemingly impending double-up.

There was a sweat, however, when the {9-Spades} came on the turn giving Young a gutshot straight draw.

"Oh Jesus Christ," said Young, who near-jumped out of his seat as the {10-Hearts} came on the river, giving him a straight and sending Westmorland to the rail.

The remaining 18 players are now seated at three tables with play four eliminations away from the money.
