Davies Jams Into Frey

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Kyle Frey opened to 3,800 and Scott Davies three-bet to 12,600 in the small blind, which Frey called to see a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Davies continued for 9,200 and Frey called.

After the {J-Clubs} turn, both players checked and Davies then moved all in for approximately 47,000 on the {2-Hearts} river. Frey was covered by some big blinds and eventually elected to fold. The 2014 WSOP APAC Main Event champion dragged in the pot and bumped his stack back up while remaining below what he started with.

Cymbaluk Shocker Crushes Glaser

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Glenn Cymbaluk
Glenn Cymbaluk

In a three-bet pot, the flop came down {J-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Benny Glaser was first to act and checked, then check-raised a bet from Glenn Cymboluk to 16,000, which the Canadian called in position. The turn paired the board with the {J-Clubs} and Glaser bet 27,000. Cymboluk once again stuck around with a call.

On the {Q-Spades} river, Glaser open-shoved and Cymbaluk instantly called it off for his remaining 94,000.

Benny Glaser: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Glenn Cymbaluk: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

Cymbaluk had rivered the four-outer he needed to win the gigantic pot. The shocking showdown left Glaser behind with a mere 33,200, while the "Cowboy" catapulted to over 300k.

Neilson Scoops Huge Double Up

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Daniel Neilson
Daniel Neilson

On a {6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Diamonds} river, Daniel Neilson was facing a bet of 28,000 from his opponent and Day 1a chip leader Lee Armstrong. Neilson then raised all in for 105,700 and his opponent went into the tank.

Eventually, Armstrong called. Neilson showed {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a missed flush draw but rivered trips, while Armstrong's {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} headed into the muck.

Park and Pettersson Approaching Half a Million; Young Busts Two

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The Hachem brothers Daniel and Anthony continue to do well while Chul-Hyon Park and Jan Pettersson soon approach half a million. Frank Pezzaniti is already past that and Park has been moved to his table.

Rory Young sent two players to the rail with just ace-queen high after all was done and dusted. The button had shoved for 25,000 with the {8-Spades}{7-Spades} and [Removed:3] in the small blind did so for 23,000 with {A-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. Young in the big blind called with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} and the board came {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} to award the pot to Young.

No Silver Lining

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Max Silver
Max Silver

Peter Mordaunt limped in from under the gun. Action was folded to Max Silver in the small blind, who completed with {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and the big blind checked his option.

The flop brought two pair for Silver on {A-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Spades}. He checked, the big blind checked and Mordaunt moved all in to put both blinds to the test. Silver called it off for 29,000 total and the third player folded.

Silver was up against {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and in a commanding position for a double up. All that changed on the {Q-Spades} turn, which was met by a fist pump from Mordaunt. The {7-Clubs} on the river was the last card Silver would see in this tournament and he bowed out.

Cymbaluk Finishes Off Glaser

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Benny Glaser
Benny Glaser

Not long ago Glenn Cymbaluk had won a massive pot against Benny Glaser to reduce the Brit to a short stack and he just finished the job. In a battle of the blinds Glaser jammed out of the small blind and Cymbaluk called from one seat over.

Benny Glaser: {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Glenn Cymbaluk: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

Glaser had two live cards but neither of them would hit on a board of {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} to send the three-time WSOP champion to the rail.
