Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

With just 40,000 left, Antonino Cascio was hanging on by a thread. His first attempt at a comeback came by winning an all-in situation through Aaron Lim.

After Lim had three-bet on the button, Cascio called all in from the small blind.

Aaron Lim: {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Antonino Cascio: {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}

Cascio had a sweat on {10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{A-Clubs}{3-Clubs} but his hand remained best.

Hausen Busts in Three-Way All In

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Tobias Hausen
Tobias Hausen

Tobias Hausen escaped from elimination when his {A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} chopped with the {A-Spades}{10-Spades} of Toby Lewis. Shortly after, Hausen moved all in first to act for his last 297,000 and Vincent Chua snap-called from one seat over. Artur Koren in the small blind three-bet all in for 540,000 and Chua asked for a count before making the call to put two players at risk.

Tobias Hausen: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Artur Koren: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Vincent Chua: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

"I need the ace on the river," Chua said, referring to an all in showdown from the stream table. Koren said "but there will be a king on the flop, the king of hearts in the window."

On the {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop, Chua added "I have more outs now" and improved to two pair thanks to the {A-Clubs} turn. Koren now needed a ten or king to remain in contention and jumped up from his seat as soon as he got there thanks to the {10-Hearts} river. Hausen was eliminated in 29th place while Koren almost tripled up in the hand.

One year ago, Hausen finished in third place in this very event and has to settle for a payday of A$40,000 this time.

Ari's Angels

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

There was heads-up action between Saijes Mundadan and Ari Engel on a {6-Clubs}{J-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop, with the latter in position. Mundadan checked, Engel bet 55,000 and Mundadan called within a second. Engel made it 130,000 on the {Q-Hearts} turn and once again received a near snap-call.

The river brought the {8-Clubs} and Mundadan checked a third time. Engel cut out a bet of 260,000, stacked it in neat towers, then slid it forward. This time, Mundadan didn't decide right away. He stood up from the table and removed his hoodie to analyze the situation. The bet was for more than half of Mundanan's remaining stack and the Indian decided to call after two minutes.

Engel showed {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} for a pair of aces which was good, as Mundanan mucked his hand. The hand after, Mundanan shoved and picked up the blinds and antes.
