Mustapha Kanit

Julien Martini opened to 18,000 from middle position before Koray Aldemir three-bet the small blind to 60,000.

From the big blind, Mustapha Kanit moved all in for 119,000. Martini moved all in for 318,000 as a response, and Aldemir peeked back down at his cards and then called all in for 225,000 total.

Aldemir: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Martini: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Kanit: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}

Kanit was in great shape to triple, and when the dealer fanned the {9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{A-Spades} board, he would hold on and move to 365,000 in chips.

Aldemir lost just two big blinds in the hand, while Martini dropped down to a 15-big blind chip stack.

Koray Aldemir
Koray Aldemir

On a flop of {7-Hearts}{8-Spades}{k-Spades} Tsugunari Toma checked from the big blind before Koray Aldemir bet 25,000 from under the gun. Toma then re-raised to 51,000 sending Aldemir into the tank.

Aldemir used one of his time extensions before announcing all in for 180,000. Toma asked for a count then made the call moments later.

Tsugunari Toma: {10-Spades}{6-Spades}
Koray Aldemir: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Aldemir had the lead with top pair against Toma who was drawing to a flush.

The {j-Spades} on the turn surged Toma to the lead with a flush leaving Aldemir needing to catch another spade to take down the pot.

The {2-Hearts} on the river would not help and Aldemir was sent to the rail.

Foxen Puts His Time To Good Use; Eliminates Ziegler

Level 8 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Tobias Ziegler
Tobias Ziegler

With around 200,000 already in the pot and the board showing {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs} Tobias Ziegler bet 100,000 from the small blind. Alex Foxen was in the cutoff and called shortly after.

The {7-Diamonds} completed the board and Ziegler moved all in for 151,000 which sent Foxen into the tank.

All up, Foxen used three time extensions, as he deliberated over his decision for three and a half minutes.

Foxen finally called and watched as Ziegler tabled {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a pair and a missed flush draw.

Foxen then flipped over his {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for two pair and took down the monster pot to see him rise to just short of one million in chips.

Loeser Doubles Through Kempe in Million Chip Pot

Level 9 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Manig Loeser
Manig Loeser

Cary Katz opened to 22,000 in the hijack and Manig Loeser three-bet to 82,000 next to act in the cutoff.

From the button, Rainer Kempe cold four-bet to 190,000, and once the blinds folded, Katz folded also.

Loeser announced he was all in for 498,000, and Kempe called.

Kempe: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Loeser: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}

"Deja vu!" announced Katz in reference to a previous all-in preflop clash between the two with the exact same holdings.

The dealer spread a {A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop to thrust Loeser into the heavy favorite, and baring a runner-runner bad beat, he would double into the chip lead.

The turn landed the {4-Clubs}, and when the river fell the {9-Clubs}, Loeser collected the pot and climbed over one million in chips.
