Addamo vs. Rheem

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 600 ante

Michael Addamo raised to 2,200 from the cutoff and Chino Rheem defended his big blind.

The flop landed {7-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and both players checked to reveal the {10-Spades} on the turn.

Rheem checked, Addamo bet 4,000, and Rheem called as the river landed the {8-Diamonds}.

Rheem checked for a third time, and Addamo bet 11,000. Rheem tossed in a single chip to signify a call, and Addamo tabled his {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}.

"That was the best card in the deck for you. I had the nut flush," added Rheem after the hand.

Yotsushika Busts Schwartz

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 600 ante

Jake Schwartz has been eliminated at the hands of Kazuhiko Yotsushika.

According to Jerry Wong, he opened to 2,500, Yotsushika three-bet to 6,000 and Schwartz four-bet to 15,800 from the blinds. Wong folded and Yotsushika called.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Schwartz checked. Yotsushika moved all in and, allegedly after some thought, Schwartz called.

Kazuhiko Yotsushika: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Jake Schwartz: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Schwartz was in a good position but the {a-Clubs} on the turn flipped things and the {10-Clubs} river bricked out as Schwartz was eliminated.

Lewis thought before folding.

"I bluffed the champ!" said Mustafa, turning over {6-Spades}{7-Spades}.

Mandavia Runs One on Schwartz

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 600 ante

Jake Schwartz opened to 2,400 in middle position and Ankush Mandavia called in the cutoff.

The flop landed {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and both players checked as the {2-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Schwartz checked, Mandavia bet 8,000, and Schwartz called as the {9-Clubs} fell on the river.

Schwartz checked a third time, and after pausing for a little, Mandavia announced a bet of 14,000.

Schwartz went deep into the tank for several minutes before eventually deciding to fold.

Mandavia flipped over his {K-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for just king-high, and Schwartz shook his head and uttered, "I was so close to calling!"

Maria Ho limped in the small blind and Jonathan Karamalikis shoved from the big blind for around 15,000. HO called.

Maria Ho: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Jonathan Karamalikis: {a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

Rheem Takes From Kempe

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 600 ante

On a {9-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop two big stacks were in action. Chino Rheem checked to Rainer Kempe who bet 11,000 and Rheem called.

The river was the {k-Diamonds}. Rheem checked and Kempe checked behind. Rheem showed {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} which was good enough to win as he moved back over 100,000 in chips.

2018 A$100,000 Challenge Winner Lim Doubles Up

Level 5 : 400/800, 600 ante

Marc Macdonnell raised to 1,600 and it folded to Michael Lim in the big blind. Last year's A$100,000 Challenge winner sat with only 5,000 behind but opted to fold.

The very next hand it folded to Lim in the small blind who moved all in. The big blind called.

Michael Lim: {q-Spades}{4-Spades}
Big Blind: {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}

"I'm live," said Lim as the {6-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} board ran out, giving him the double.
