Kenney Sheepish After Queen-High Showdown

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Bryn Kenney opened to 27,000 and Andrew Hinrichsen defended his big blind. The flop came {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Spades} and Hinrichsen check-called 32,000.

Hinrichsen then bet 33,000 on the {8-Diamonds} turn and Kenney called.

The river was the {a-Hearts}. Both players checked. Hinrichsen turned over {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a missed straight draw and a grinning Kenney showed {q-Hearts}{7-Spades} for queen high which was good enough to take down the pot.

Michael Addamo raised to 30,000 from the button before Andrian Chin re-raised to 98,000 from the small blind. Addamo called after David Wang folded his big blind.

Both players checked the {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop before the {j-Diamonds} dropped on the turn.

Chin reached for his chips and splashed out a bet totalling 128,000. Addamo called shortly after.

The {10-Spades} completed the board and both players opted to check.

Chin tabled {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for a pair before Addamo flipped over {a-Spades}{2-Spades} for two pair winning him the pot.

Panka Jams Into Wakeman; Glasspool Doubles on Feature Table

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Picking up the action on the {Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, Matthew Wakeman in the big blind checked and called a bet of 22,000 by Dominik Panka on the button. The {A-Clubs} followed on the turn and Wakeman check-called a second barrel for 45,000 before checking again the {9-Clubs} river. Panka now moved all in for 242,000 and Wakeman folded after plenty of consideration.

Moments later on the feature table, Robert Glasspool three-bet shoved for 211,000 on the button with {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Simon Chahine called with {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}. The board came {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and Glasspool locked up the double on the flop already.

Ajay Gnanasambanthan opened from under the gun and Michael Addamo, who had only just been moved to his table, three-bet to 90,000. Gnanasambanthan four-bet all in for 271,000 and Addamo called.

Gnanasambanthan: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Addamo: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Michael Egan raised to 27,000 on the button and Yang Lei shoved for 161,000 in the big blind. Egan gave it some thought and called.

Yang Lei: {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Michael Egan: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Lei was well ahead but that all but changed with the {J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop. Lei was drawing to a chop or running cards for the higher straight and picked up some hope with the {Q-Diamonds} turn. However, the {A-Spades} river was a blank and Lei was eliminated in 33rd place for AU$36,200.
