Kenney Sheepish After Queen-High Showdown

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Bryn Kenney opened to 27,000 and Andrew Hinrichsen defended his big blind. The flop came {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Spades} and Hinrichsen check-called 32,000.

Hinrichsen then bet 33,000 on the {8-Diamonds} turn and Kenney called.

The river was the {a-Hearts}. Both players checked. Hinrichsen turned over {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a missed straight draw and a grinning Kenney showed {q-Hearts}{7-Spades} for queen high which was good enough to take down the pot.
