Salter Doubles Again

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Jack Salter
Jack Salter

Jack Salter doubled through Bjorn Ostby in the last hand before the break, and shortly after the resumption of play he's doubled again, this time through Dingxiang Ong.

Salter three-bet all in for 210,000 over Ong's open and Ong called.

Salter: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Ong: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

"Big!" cried Salter.

"Small!" replied Ong.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} putting Salter in the lead.

"Hold that sh*t up," said Salter as the {8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} run out sealed his double to just under 500,000.

Trips for Ostby

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Jack Salter was the initial raiser preflop and his bet of 40,000 on the {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop was called by Bjorn Ostby on the button and Dingxiang Ong in the small blind. The {6-Clubs} turn was checked to Ostby, who bet 100,000. Only Ong called and they checked the {10-Hearts} on the river.

Ostby tabled the {6-Spades}{5-Spades} for trips sixes and that won the pot.

Quan Zhou took another hit to his stack when he moved all in blind versus blind against a short-stacked Robert Glasspool.

Quan Zhou: {K-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Quan Zhou
Quan Zhou

Quan Zhou open-jammed for 138,000 from under the gun. Mike Del Vecchio called in the small blind and Simon Chahine folded his big blind.

Zhou: {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Del Vecchio: {j-Spades}{k-Clubs}

There was a king on the {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop giving Del Vecchio the lead. The turn {8-Hearts} gave both players a flush draw for a chop.

"Chop it up?" said Del Vecchio. But the river was the {8-Clubs} pairing the board and sending Zhou to the exit.
