Davies Wins a Small One vs Greenwood

Level 3 : 300/600, 600 ante
Seth Davies
Seth Davies

Sam Greenwood opened to 1,500 and got calls from Aaron van Blarcum, as well as Seth Davies in the big blind.

The trio checked the {6-Spades}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop and the turn was the {7-Hearts}. Davies checked to Greenwood who bet 1,500. Van Blarcum folded and Davies called.

Davies checked the {j-Spades} river and Greenwood checked behind opening {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for ace-high. Davies had rivered a flush with {10-Spades}{2-Spades} and took down the pot.

Double for Grafton; Grafton Eliminated

Level 3 : 300/600, 600 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

A few minutes ago, Sam Grafton was having a double counted out after holding {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} against the {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} of Yang Wang. However, no sooner had he increased his stack to around 60,000, he tangled with Sam Greenwood and was subsequently eliminated.

According to tablemate Kristen Bicknell, Greenwood opened and called a three-bet from Grafton. Greenwood check-called two streets on a {q-}{9-}{3-}{5-} board and check-called a shove from Grafton on the river.

The Brit showed {k-}{k-} but was eliminated by the {q-}{q-} of Greenwood.

Meanwhile, Michael Lim has re-entered and Dan Smith has joined Grafton on the rail.

Lim Eliminated by Watson

Level 3 : 300/600, 600 ante

On a {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} board Michael Lim bet 4,500 and Mike Watson called.

The river was the {4-Clubs} and Lim checked. Watson bet 28,000 which was enough to put Lim all in. Lim tanked and eventually called, but the 2018 $100k Challenge winner was eliminated when Watson turned over {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Meanwhile Tsugunari Toma and Graeme Siow have joined the field.

Yan Eliminated by Greenwood

Level 2 : 200/400, 400 ante

After both David Yan and Sam Greenwood committed 10,000 to the pot on a {10-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} board, Yan shoved for around 20,000 on the {8-Hearts} turn and Greenwood snap-called.

David Yan: {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Sam Greenwood: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}

Yan nodded as his opponent turned over his set, and the river {j-Diamonds} could not save him as he was eliminated.
