Tony Hachem

Steve O'Dwyer has become the 377th entry for Day 1c and not long ago prior to the break, Tony Hachem also sat down. Hachem first lost a pot with flush versus full house but then scored a double against big stack Takahiro Nakai. Hachem's aces held against nines and he has since remained on an above-average stack.

Kessler Above Starting Stack

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

A single-raised four-way pot saw all players check the {3-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop before Allen Kessler led out 2,500 from the big blind on the {3-Spades} turn. He found a faller in the cutoff, and they made it heads up to the {k-Hearts} river. Kessler wagered 5,000 and he got paid again, adding decent pot to his stack after showing {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for top two.

Yotsushika into the Chip Lead

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

On a {3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{k-Clubs} board, Kazuhiko Yotsushika bet 3,500 and a single opponent raised to 9,000. Yotsushika re-raised to 23,500 and after some thought his opponent re-raised all in for somewhere in the region of 35,000.

Yotsushika snap-called and had his opponent drawing dead with {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. His opponent turned over {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} and was eliminated as the {10-Diamonds} fell on the river, with Yotsushika chipping up to around 170,000 in chips.

Kuo More Than Doubles

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

Following a limp from early position, Artur Koren raised to 1,500 in the hijack and Rory Young called on the button. Kitty Kuo peeled a fine hand in the small blind and she shoved her last 3,825. Only Koren matched the price and Kuo found herself in great shape, contesting a pot with a lot of dead money.

Kuo: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Koren: {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}

A safe board of {5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{7-Clubs} propelled Kuo to a win and she improved to 20 big blinds.

Bicknell Has It

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

Kristen Bicknell was in late position, battling against a player in the big blind who check-called her 1,700-bet on the {3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} turn.

The river came {q-Clubs} and Bicknell sized her final bet at 6,400. The other player called and Bicknell promptly flipped over {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for the best hand.

Dejan Boskovic moved all in for 5,750 and was called by Philipp Kaempf on the button and Kazuhiko Yotsushika in the big blind. The remaining two active players checked the {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop and a bet of Yotsushika on the {6-Hearts} turn forced a fold from Kaemof.
