Vladas Tamasauskas Bubbles $5,000 No Limit Hold'em Challenge

Vladas Tamasauskas Bubbles $5k Challenge
Vladas Tamasauskas Bubbles $5k Challenge

Vladas Tamasauskas was forced all in from the big blind for his last 60,000 and Scott Stewart raised to 120,000 from the cutoff. Everyone else folded to set up a showdown between Tamasauskas and Stewart.

Vladas Tamasauskas: 64All in
Scott Stewart: A7

Tamasauskas turned his cards over one-by-one to find himself behind, but at least had two live cards.

The 10J6 flop brought a six right in the window to pull Tamasauskas ahead, much to the chagrin of the onlookers looking to secure a spot in the money.

However, the dealer brought the A on the turn — pairing Stewart's ace to retake a commanding lead in the hand.

The 9 river bricked out for Tamasauskas and he was forced to the rail one spot shy of the money.

With just three spots to go until the money bubble bursts, play has been a bit "deliberate" as of late.

In a recent hand, the player in the hijack opened to 120,000 and just behind him, Jaxon Byrne moved all in for a bit over a million total. Each of the players behind made liberal use of their shot clocks before folding, which included the original raiser to send the pot Byrne's way.

Murphy Trips up Yokosawa

Level 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 77J with a few hundred thousand already in the middle, Masato Yokosawa checked from the small blind and called after Daniel Murphy bet 205,000 from early position.

The 7 brought trips on board and Yokosawa check-called a 375,000 bet from Murphy.

Both players checked down on the 5 river and Murphy showed AJ for sevens-full of jacks. Yokosawa couldn't beat it and sent his cards into the muck.

Just 59 players remain with a few minutes to go before the dinner break.
