Portaro's Fortunate Double in the Main

Bruno Portaro
Bruno Portaro

You're always hoping to flop a set with a pocket pair, and then you're hoping to get the money in the middle.

That's exactly how it worked for Bruno Portaro in the Aussie Millions Main Event who opened with pocket nines and called a three-bet from Kazuhiko Yotsushika.

When the flop came nine-high, Portaro checked it over to his opponent who shoved with just king-high. Portaro snap-called and held to double up as play approached the second break.

Be sure to check out how the pair are doing in the Main Event with our live updates.
