Marek Kolk cops a beat

Vogl Hans Martin raises to $8500 and is reraised to $25000 by Marek Kolk on the Button. Vogl moves in and Marek calls. Vogl shows AQ and Kolk has AK.

The Flop is {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

The Turn card is the {7-Diamonds} but the {Q-Diamonds} hits the River and Kolk loses a chunk of chips. We caught up with him during the break and he had some colourful words to describe the wonderful game of Poker.

News from the Feature Table

Word just in from the Studio - local hero Joe Hachem has just doubled up.

JJ Liu raises to $7000 and Hachem moves in for $33000 and is called by {A-Spades}{J-Spades}. Liu folds and Hachem turns over {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The Flop is {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Joe takes a breath.

The Turn {9-Diamonds} and River {9-Clubs} give Hachem a full house and he doubles up to over $75000 in chips

Sleepwalking thru the tournament

We still have two more 90 minute levels tonight, so what does that say about this hand....

Michael Horowitz is in a hand with two other players. After thinking about the flop for several minutes, he says: "Is it on me?" He then bets out 12,500 on the T67 board. Both players fold and Michael exclaims: "What there were two other players in that hand?"

As the dealer shuffles up for the next hand, Michael admits he had fallen asleep and must have been bluffing at the pot because he can't remember what he had.

Loooooooong night ahead for many players.

Patrik Antonius Back to Life

After being on the brink of elimination, Antonius tripled up, then doubled up, stole some blinds, and doubled up again. He has over 50K now.

With {J-Spades}{6-Spades} he caught a {6-Hearts} on the river to double through Lee Nelson's {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

Then he picked off Barny Boatman's bluff. Boatman moved all in with {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Antonius called with {A-Spades}{5-Hearts} in the big blind. Antonius won the hand with Ace high and crippled Boatman in the process. Antonius is over 50K in chips.
