Christmas Comes Early For O'Grady

Level 20 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Michael O'Grady just received an early Christmas present courtesy of Moon Cheung.

There had been an open from middle position and Cheung called from the hijack before O'Grady made it 160,000 from the big blind. The middle position player called, then Cheung shoved for around 450,000. O'Grady also shoved, and the last player folded.

"WTF!" said O'Grady. "I like it, risk it for a biscuit' he added.

Cheung was hoping for a miracle runout but didn't find much to work with on the 76K flop. A 2 on the turn left him drawing dead, and O'Grady completed an unneeded flush when the 9 hit the river.

Bouskila On the Wrong End of a Huge Cooler

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Michel Bouskila

A huge, huge hand played out before the break with Michel Bouskila finding himself on the wrong end of a huge cooler!

Bouskila said he made it 50,000 preflop and got two calls, including one from Andrew Samoa. On the flop of KKA, Bouskila bet 50,000 and only Samoa called.

Both checked the 3 turn to the 6 river, where Bouskila bet 120,000 and Samoa raised to 325,000. Bouskila then shoved, and after counting out the chips, Samoa called.

Bouskila then revealed a full house with AK, but amazingly was beat at Samoa revealed AA for top boat!

What a sick, sick cooler!
