Le’s previous best career finish came right here at bestbet Jacksonville in March of 2014, when he made a run to fourth place in the $3,500 WPT Main Event.
Le built his lead at the end of the evening, thanks in part to a big pot with Mark Manesh.
Action was three ways with ![]()

on the board when Mark Manesh bet 10,000. Peter Le called from the next seat over and a player in the cutoff came along.
The turn was
. Manesh checked and Le bet 30,000. The cutoff folded and Manesh called to see
on the river.
Manesh fired 50,000 and Le went into the tank. After he considered his options, Le slid out the chips to call.
"Nice call," said Manesh as he turned over ![]()

to take the pot with a pair of aces.
The hand took Le over 300,000 and he did not look back from there.
Behind Le on the leaderboard is Jack Sumner, who will add to his series total after he cashed in the opening event. Sumner held the chip lead for the later stages of the evening before Le caught up with a run in the last level.
Toby Boas finished in third place on the leaderboard after a late-level run that included the last elimination of the night, when Matthew Leecy pushed the short stack with pocket tens but ran into the pocket jacks of Boas. Anderson Premdas and Blake Baumgartner round out the top five.
Other players returning for the Day 2 finale include Adam Zeltser, Michael Robilotto, Charlie Campos, Kelley Slay, and Winter Series Main Event champion Tyler Payne.
