River Brings a Straight for O'Neal

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action was heads-up with {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} on the board when Jeffrey Joiner bet 2,200 and Charles O'Neal called from the button.

The river was {8-Diamonds} and Joiner continued for 6,000. O'Neal quickly called and Joiner turned over {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}, but O'Neal tabled {7-Clubs}{4-Hearts} to take the pot with the straight.

"Good catch," Joiner said as O'Neal stacked up his new chips.

Compton Takes From Buck With Big Slick

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action was heads-up with a small pot in the middle and {j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} on the board when Lisa Buck bet 1,800 from early position and John Compton called. The turn was {4-Diamonds}.

Both players checked the turn to see {2-Clubs} on the river. Buck fired 3,300 more and Compton tossed out the chips to call while he turned over {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for a pair of kings. Buck nodded and mucked the losing hand.

Zhang Catches Up; Brown Wins Early Pot

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 0 ante

Min Zhang was seen gathering in a double with {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts} showing and {5-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{k-Clubs} on the board. Zhang fell behind early but the pot brought her back near the starting stack. Her opponent's {k-}{q-} was mucked by the dealer.

Meanwhile, James Brown bet 4,000 with {7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{j-Spades}{a-Clubs} on the board and around 7,000 in the pot. It was too much for Christopher Johnson in the small blind and he tossed his hand in the muck to give Brown the early pot.
