David Carapella
David Carapella

BetMGM Poker qualifer David Carapella has been running up his stack as of late and recently eliminated in an opponent in an all-in cooler.

The opponent held {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} on a board of {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for the nut flush, but it was no good against the full house of Carapella with {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} to mark the second time today that Carapella has sent an opponent to the rail after flopping a set.

At the same table, Darren Elias has built up a similarly sized stack of around 140,000.

On the {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop, Farrell continued for 2,800. The button raised to 6,200 and was called.

The {9-Diamonds} turn checked through to the {4-Spades} river and Farrell bet 15,600. His opponent weighed up his option before deciding to fold.

Alexander bet 7,500 for a more than pot-sized river bet and Daniels responded by moving all in for around 32,000. Alexander went in the tank and eventually found a call.

Daniels tabled {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a pair of fives and a missed flush draw, while Alexander showed {a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for two pair to win the pot and eliminate Daniels early in the day.

Daniels was seen buying back into the tournament shortly after.

Sehgal Chows Down

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Jake Daniels raised to 1,000 from early position and was called by the cutoff and Atul Sehgal from the small blind.

Sehgal, while eating a Posh Burger, check-raised to 3,200 after Daniels continued for 1,200 on the {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop. The cutoff mucked before Sehgal put in the three-bet.

Daniels, undeterred by his ravenous opponent, called to see the {4-Hearts} turn.

Sehgal took another bite of his burger before sending in another 5,500 into the middle. Daniels quickly let it go and Seghal continued to chow down while he raked in the pot.
