Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Matt Berkey
Matt Berkey

Anatoly Filatov opened to 2,300 from middle position and was only called by Matt Berkey from the big blind.

The {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop checked through to the {j-Diamonds} turn. Berkey bet 4,000 and was called.

The {j-Spades} checked through and Berkey let out a little sigh before tabling his {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a flopped flush.

Filatov exposed that he had the {a-Clubs} before he mucked.

Shashikhina Gets Value

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The button raised to 2,600 and Sonia-Veronika Shashikhina flat-called out of the small blind to get the hand heads-up.

Shashikhina checked on the {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop and the button checked back. Shashikhina checked again on the {k-Clubs} turn and her opponent checked back.

Shashikhina led out for 6,500 on the {5-Hearts} and her opponent shuffled his chips before calling. Shashikhina showed {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} to win the pot with a pair of aces, beating out the {k-}{j-} of the button.

Wiegmann Takes From Geilich

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ludovic Geilich opened from early position and was called by a player in middle position, the button, the small blind and Cody Wiegmann in the big blind.

Geilich continued for 4,500 on the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop and only Weigmann called.

The {8-Spades} turn checked through to the {10-Diamonds} river and Wiegmann bet 3,800. Geilich wasted little time calling but mucked after Wiegmann rolled over his {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for a flopped two pair.

Daniels Doesn't Punt

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Jake Daniels
Jake Daniels

Jake Daniels got to the river in a heads-up pot on a board reading {k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}.

Daniels bet 15,000 on the river and his opponent initiated some table talk, noting that Daniels had mentioned that he is sometimes prone to "punt."

"Sometimes I punt, but I told myself I wouldn't punt. So, therefore, I will not," Daniels explained to imply that he had it this time.

The opponent folded {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} face-up and asked Daniels if he would show. Daniels allowed him to look at one card, and after doing so the opponent decided he had made the right move.

"Good f***ing fold!" the oppponent told himself.
