BetMGM Poker qualifier Jesus Castro-Reyes has had quite the spin-up on Day 2. He came into the day near the bottom of the chip counts with just 33,500. He now has a stack of 200,000 and just collected the small stack that once belonged to Elliott Kampen.

Bob Shao opened to 5,500 from under the gun before Jeffrey Farnes three-bet to 14,500 from the big blind. Shao reraised to 33,500 after some thinking time and Farnes called.
Farnes check-called for 14,500 on the 7♣7♥4♠ flop which brought in the Q♦ turn. Farnes checked and, after a minute, Shao sized up to 28,000. Farnes went into the tank before announcing his all-in for around 115,000. Shao snap-called and the cards were tabled.
Jeffrey Farnes: K♣K♥
Bob Shao: A♦A♥
It was a sick cooler for Farnes and the 8♣ river confirmed his exit.

Jon Gisler opened to 5,500 from the cutoff but was then raised by David Gonzalez to 15,000 from the button. Action folded back to Gisler who made the call, commenting that he wasn't good enough to fold.
The flop came out 2♣8♥J♠. Gonzalez continued for 9,500 and Gisler check-called to see the turn 9♠.
Gisler checked once more to Gonzalez who fired again for 30,000, but this time it got the job done as Gisler quickly surrendered his cards.

Jon Gisler opened to 5,000 from the hijack and Clemen Deng defended his big blind.
Deng check-called for 3,500 on the K♠9♣4♣ flop which brought in the Q♦ turn.
"Can I see what you're playing?", asked Gisler and Deng lifted his arms to show his stack of around 100,000.
Action checked through to the J♦ river. Deng fired for 8,500 and Gisler conceded the pot.

Biao Ding opened to 5,500 from early position only to be three-bet by Alex Condon to his left for 17,500. Then Erfan Geula in the cutoff decided to put in the cold four-bet to 44,000 and action folded back to Ding, who also decided to get out of the way. Condon then five-bet jammed for around 140,000 and Geula made the call to put him at risk.
Alex Condon: A♠K♣
Erfan Geula: A♥K♥
The players were highly likely to chop the pot, but not when the flop came out Q♥7♥J♥ to instantly flop Condon dead as Geula made the nut flush. The board completed with the meaningless 3♣5♠ and Condon was sent to the rail early in the day.
"Well, at least it was a quick death," Condon sighed as he packed up his belongings and headed towards the exit as Geula stacked his new chips.
