"Aghh," Magus groaned as she realized she was behind, and the runout of 3♥8♥ did not help her and she was eliminated in 10th place.
Bradley Hinson jammed for 1,625,000 first to act and Sundiate DeVore called from the small blind after using up a time bank card.

The K♣8♣6♦ flop gave Hinson a flush draw, and he spiked it on the J♣ turn. The 10♥ completed the board and and Hinson doubled up.
On a heads-up flop of 10♦7♥A♥, Leo Taffe bet 175,000 into the pot and Stephen Song check-called to see the turn Q♦.
Song checked once more and then Taffe fired out a big bet of 825,000 and Song went into the tank before he decided to make the call.
The river fell the Q♥ and once again Song checked to Taffe, who announced he was all in, covering Song.
Song then thought about it for a good while but eventually elected to lay it down and the large pot was pushed Taffe's way to further pad his chip lead.
Mike Vanier opened to 250,000 first to act and Leo Taffe called from the big blind.
Taffe check-called for 250,000 and 650,000 for the final board to read Q♠8♣2♣A♦5♥.
Taffe checked and Vanier sized up to 1,750,000 and was snap-called.
Vanier instantly mucked his cards and Taffe claimed the pot without having to reveal his hole cards.
The remaining 10 players are now on the final table bubble, and since there is a significant pay jump the Tournament Director has initiated hand-for-hand play.
Leo Taffe opened to 250,000 and then Joshua Boulton to his left moved all in for 2,500,000. Action folded back around to Taffe who wasted no time in calling and the cards were tabled with Boulton at risk.

Boulton was going to need some help from the board to stay alive and the flop of J♣2♠9♣ was favorable for him, but the runout of 10♥A♥ gave Taffe the superior pair of aces on the river to eliminate him in 11th place.
