Level 3
: Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Action was picked up on the river of a board reading 9♠10♥J♥K♣Q♠. With a straight on the board, Mike Gao was facing a decision for his tournament life.
Matthew Zambanini, to his left, had moved all in, and had him covered. After a few moments of thought, Gao stuck in a call.
"I had it," said Zambanini, as he tabled Q♦6♦ for the turned straight that was counterfeit on the river. Gao had dlopped a set with 10♣10♠ but played the same straight as his opponent as the two chopped the pot.
