Hamlet Turns the Nuts on Wilson
Level 8
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Action folded to Darren Elias in late position, who opened to 1,800. Both Brock Wilson in the small blind and Brandon Hamlet in the big blind put in the call, leading the three a flop of 9♦A♠6♥.
Elias threw out a continuation-bet of 1,800 when checked to, which was called by both Wilson and Hamlet. The 7♣ peeled off on the turn, and Wilson opted to lead out for 3,000. Hamlet called; Elias didn't.
The J♣ river was then dealt, and Wilson checked it over to his opponent. Hamlet moved all in, and Wilson snap-called, tabling his 6♠6♦ for a flopped set. However, he had been outdrawn on the turn, as Hamlet held 10♠8♦ for the nuts, to send Wilson to the rail.
