Palma Turns the Best of It
Level 13
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Nicholas Palma opened to 6,000 under the gun. Action folded all the way around to big blind Jeremy Becker, who opted to defend.
He then checked over the 10♠6♥6♣ flop, and called a bet of 4,000 from Palma. Becker called, bringing in the 10♣ on the turn.
Action went check-check, and the 5♥ river was dealt. Becker led out for 14,500, only to see Palma bump it up, with 44,500 his sizing. After a decent tank, Becker stuck in the call, but his A♠6♦ had been beat, with Palma's A♥10♥ scooping the pot.
