Aaron Pinson Wins the Mystery Bounty

Matt Glantz and Aaron Pinson chopped heads-up and then flipped for the trophy. Pinson won the flip, so he's the official winner.

Both players evenly split the main prize pool for first and second place, giving each $44,825. Glantz received the final bounty, worth $10,000. But Pinson won a total of $199,825 thanks to the $155,000 in bounties he pulled.

We'll have a full recap of the Day 2 action in a bit.

Matt Glantz and Aaron Pinson agreed to chop the remaining prize pool money and then each would pull one of the final two bounties in play in the Mystery Bounty event.

There was a $10,000 and $25,000 bounty still available, and Pinson went up there and, of course, pulled the $25,000. He pulled both $50,000 bounties and now the third-largest bounty.

Pinson made $155,000 just in bounties, which is 15.5% of the entire prize pool. What a heater.

Aaron Pinson just eliminated Michael Wang in third place. He started the day by pulling the top bounty ($50,000).

Want to take a guess what bounty he just pulled from the Wang bustout? That's right, the second $50,000 bounty. Both top bounties went to Pinson, who now has $130,000 worth of bounties today. Not too shabby.

Oh, and he's guaranteed at least $36,900 from the main prize pool. Or, $52,750 if he can beat Matt Glantz heads-up.

BetMGM Qualifiers Battling in Big, Big Baller

Andrew Porter

A handful of BetMGM Poker qualifiers have made their way into the $10,200 Big, Big Baller at Borgata, and it's been an up-and-down Day 1 for the group.

Daniel Escherich won a massive race early, but has since lost most of those profits back. He did, however, recently win a small pot against fellow BetMGM Poker qualifier Andrew Porter who is above the starting stack.

Qualifier Justin Vaysman, in Level 7, scooped a big multiway pot when he flopped an open-ended straight draw and rivered his straight. Brandon Hamlet, whose hand wasn't exposed, paid off a big bet on the river. Vaysman is well above starting stack late on Day 1.

Registration remains open until the start of play tomorrow in this $500,000 guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em event.

Crazy Three-Way All In Leads to Elimination in Mystery Bounty

Dylan Lemery

An entertaining three-way pot ensued with five left in the Mystery Bounty.

Dylan Lemery, the smallest stack, was all in with 10x9x and Matt Glantz, who was all in for a bigger stack with AxQx. Michael McNicholas, who had them both covered, called with 5x5x chasing that $50,000 bounty.

Glantz would flop two pair and it held up to win the massive pot, while Lemery was eliminated in fifth place for $12,725.
