The second day of the Big, Big Series at Borgata kicks off at 11:15 a.m. with two events.

The first event is Day 2 of the $1,100 Big, Big Welcome H.O.R.S.E., which played down from 27 to seven on Sunday. Only four of the remaining players will be paid, with the champion taking home $12,150. They'll play it down to a winner before the day wraps.

One of the biggest events of the $6 million guaranteed series starts on Monday, and that is the $2,200 Big, Big Kickoff, a No-Limit Hold'em tournament with $1 million guaranteed. Day 1a starts at 11:15 a.m., while the Day 1b session begins at 6:15 p.m.

Those are the only two opening flights in this tournament, and players can enter either one. Everyone who bags a Day 1 stack will return to action on Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. for Day 2.

Only a few minutes remain on Day 1 of the $1,100 Big, Big Welcome H.O.R.S.E., and just eight players are left.

One player who is no longer in the field is Michael Gagliano, a BetMGM ambassador who finished fifth in the WSOP Main Event this summer for $2,750,000.

Four players will be paid in this tournament, so we won't quite hit the bubble before the session wraps just before midnight.

A $3 Million Guaranteed Tournament is Coming This Week to Borgata

Borgata is currently hosting the Big, Big Series, powered by BetMGM. There are plenty of huge events in the next few days, as you'll find on the schedule.

But there's one tournament that stands out from the rest, and that is the $5,300 BetMGM Poker Big, Big Championship. This one is going to be BIG (so big it deserves capital letters).

The No-Limit Hold'em tournament, which starts Sept. 19 at Borgata in Atlantic City, has a $3 million guarantee. There are three Day 1 starting flights, one each day for three days starting at 12:15 p.m. Day 2 is slated for Sept. 22, and the finale will take place on the following day.

One player is likely to walk away with a trophy and somewhere likely close to $800,000. There are qualifiers running this week both at Borgata and online on the BetMGM Poker app.

Here's the Full Schedule for the Big, Big Series

The Big, Big Series powered by BetMGM Poker runs from September 13-23, with more than $6 million in guaranteed prize pools as Borgata celebrates the one-year anniversary of the BetMGM Poker Tournament Room.

And as the name suggests, Borgata is going big. Very big.

The biggest chunk of the $6 million-plus in guarantees belongs to the $5,300 BetMGM Poker Big, Big Championship, which puts $3 million guaranteed on the line.

The Championship begins with Day 1A at 12:15 p.m. on September 19, followed by Day 1B at the same time on September 20 and Day 1C on September 21.
