The board came {q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and DAngelo whiffed all his outs. Dauti took the pot with his pocket pair.

David Farah
David Farah

On the river with a board of {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}, David Farah (sb) bet ~ 1 million. Timothy Little (button) called, only to see the bad news — Farah had {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for sixes-full.

That pot took Farah north of 12 million chips.

Farah Shows the Bluff

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
David Farah
David Farah

David Farah (utg) and Nick Pupillo (sb) were looking at a flop of {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{5-Spades} and both players checked. On the {8-Spades} turn, Pupillo checked, Farah bet 125,000, Pupillo raised to 395,000, then after using a time extension chip, Farah made it 1,025,000.

Pupillo mucked his hand and Victor Ramdin said "Show the bluff."

Farah obliged, rolling over {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for nothing but king-high, saying "of course it was a bluff, what the f*** you think it was, Victor?"

"I wonder if king-high was good there," Ramdin responded, "since you were both bluffing."

Pupillo and Little Trade Pots

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Timothy Little
Timothy Little

Nick Pupillo opened for 150,000 on the button and Timothy Little three-bet to 455,000 from the small blind.
Pupillo shoved for a bit more than 1.7 million and before getting the final count, Little mucked his hand.

With that pot, Pupillo was up to ~2.2 million and Little was still in fine shape with ~4.85 million.

On the next hand, the same two players tangled again when Pupillo opened for 200,000 and Little called from the button.

Both players checked the flop of {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}, then on the {4-Diamonds} turn, Pupillo checked, Little bet 380,000, and Pupillo let it go.

Little got a little of his chips back.

Linster Triples on Last Hand of Level

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Mike Linster
Mike Linster

After David Farah opened for 130,000, Victor Ramdin (sb) called, then Mike Linster (bb) moved in for 520,000 total. Both Farah and Ramdin called.

On the flop of {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, Ramdin led for 250,000 and Farah called to create a side pot. They both checked the {k-Hearts} turm and the {3-Spades} river. Ramdin tabled {a-Spades}{8-Spades} and Farah had {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} to chop the side pot.

Mike Linster tabled {2-Spades}{2-Clubs} with a sigh of relief. His full house was good for a triple up to more than 1.6 million.

"I thought I was dust on the turn," he said, as he stacked his newly won chips. Both opponent still have more than 9 million, so no sweat there.

The final 12 are off on a 15 minute break.

Tyler Phillips Eliminated in 13th Place ($39,350)

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Tyler Phillips
Tyler Phillips

David Farah opened for 135,000 up front, getting called by Tyler Phillips and Victor Ramdin (cutoff).

On the {q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop, Farah fired 300,000, Phillips called, and Ramdin folded.

It was heads-up to the turn, which was the {9-Diamonds} and Farah launched a 600,000 salvo. Phillips jammed for ~2.5 million total and Farah called. Phillips was drawing with the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Farah was way ahead with {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for two pair.

The {2-Diamonds} bricked the river and Farah took the pot and possibly the chip lead, closing in on 10 million himself.

Tyler Phillips finished in 13th place, earning $39,350.

Vanessa Selbst
Vanessa Selbst

After Tyler Phillips opened for a min-raise to 100,000 from the button, Vanessa Selbst flatted from the small blind. Victor Ramdin (bb) made it 450,000 to go, Phillips folded and Selbst jammed for 2.8 million total. Ramdin snapped.

Selbst had {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} and was dominated by Ramdin's {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}. The final board read {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and was not enough — Ramdin's kicker played. He took the pot and is approaching the 10-million mark.

Vanessa Selbst was felted in 14th place for $39,350. Not a bad showing for her first tournament in a couple of years!
