Justin Liberto Eliminated in 19th Place ($26,240)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Justin Liberto
Justin Liberto

Jerry Maher's {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} was good for a double-up through Justin Liberto, who had {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. The board came {a-}{q-}{5-}{2-}{a-} giving Maher the pot with trip aces.

Liberto was left short, with only about 500,000, and got that in the middle from the small blind against Qi Hu (button). Liberto's {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs} needed help against Hu's {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, but the flop of {a-}{a-}{9-} gave Hu the full house and left Liberto drawing dead.

Justin Liberto finished in 19th place, earning $26,240.

Jerry Payne Eliminated in 20th Place ($26,240)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Jerry Payne
Jerry Payne

Victor Ramdin opened and Jerry Payne (bb) called to see the flop fall {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Payne slid his last ~380,000 across the line and Ramdin called.

Payne's {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} had hit top pair, but Ramdin's {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} had flopped a set. The case {3-Clubs} came on the turn giving Ramdin quads and sealing Payne's fate. He finished in 20th place, earning $26,240.

Ryan D'Angelo
Ryan D'Angelo

On the river with aboard showing {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, Ryan D'Angelo checked from the cutoff, Victor Ramdin (button) bet 225,000, then D'Angelo raised it up to 825,000.

Ramdin tanked, burning a couple of his Time Extension chips, before opting to call.

D'Angelo tabled {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for the rivered full boat and Ramdin mucked his hand.

Aaron Mermelstein
Aaron Mermelstein

Femi Fashakin got all-in holding {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} against the {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} of Kevin Albers. The board came {8-}{5-}{3-}{2-}{4-} giving both a straight, but Albers' was six-high to take the pot. His big stack got bigger.

Fashakin finished in 24th place

Despite a third double-up, Scott Baumstein finally hit the rail, finishing in 23rd place.

Aaron Mermelstein has also busted out, finishing in 22nd place. He got his last chips in good holding {10-}{10-} against the {6-}{6-} of David Prociak. Then Prociak flopped a set and rivered quads to take the pot.

Victor Ramdin

On a flop of {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, Jerry Maher bet 100,000 from the big blind and Victor Ramdin called. The {k-Clubs} turn was greeted with a 300,000 bet from Maher, which Ramdin also called.

The {2-Diamonds} river was checked down and Maher showed {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} for ace-high. Ramdin tabled {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a pair of tens to take the pot.

Baumstein Doubles Twice to Start the Day

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Scott Baumstein
Scott Baumstein

Scott Baumstein started the day as the short stack with only 65,000 and on the first hand, he was under-the-gun and opted to fold.

His second hand he was pot committed as the big blind and was all-in holding {q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} against Uke Dauti's dominating {q-Spades}{5-Clubs}. The board fell {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, however, and Baumstein paired his kicker to double up.

On the third hand, he put in his last chips (100,000) from the small blind and Ryan D'Angelo called from the big. Baumstein's {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} was looking good against D'Angelo's {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and the runout of {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{a-Hearts} was good for Baumstein, who doubled again to 230,000 (8 big blinds).
