Wang Turns the Nuts

In a multi-way pot, the turn was showing and Yan Wang (big blind) bet 3,000. The player in Seat 4 (under-the-gun) called, then Seat 6 raised to 7,000. Both opponents called to see the complete the board.

Wang checked, Seat 4 checked, Seat 6 fired 11,000, Wang raised to 25,000, Seat 4 flatted, and Seat 6 let it go.

Wang tabled for the stone-cold nuts and Seat 4 mucked. Wang took the pot and is moving in the right direction early in Flight C.

Kassin Takes it on the Turn

On the turn with a board of , the player in Seat 7 bet 15,000, only to have Charles Kassin (cutoff) jam his whole ~85,000 stack. Seat 7 tanked for a bit, considering the dripping wet board, before releasing his hand. Kassin took the pot.

He cashed twice during the Fall Poker Open last November and three times in the Borgata Poker Open last September, including a deep run in the Almighty Stack. In that event, he finished 15th out of 2,760 entrants for $6,325.

Barringer is Back

Sean Barringer is a regular here at Borgata and he booked his best live cash of $45,230 last November in the 2019 Fall Poker Open $2,700 NLH Championship, when he finished seventh out of 511 entrants.

He's yet to take home a baby Borgata, but has come close with numerous final table appearances. His best finish here was second place in the 2013 Spring Poker Open $450 Omaha Hi/Lo, good for $5,234.
