In a battle between the blinds, Laura Church led out for 2,000 on a board of 8♠K♥2♣Q♠ before Edward Szumski raised to 11,000. Church then moved all in for 22,900, and Szumski called.
Szumski showed K♣Q♣ for top two pair, but Church had flopped a set with 8♣8♥. The river was the 9♥ and Church doubled up.
Heads-up on a board of 9♦A♦Q♣2♥, Mark Baum bet 2,000 from the big blind before Maxwell Young raised to 7,000 on the button. Baum called, and the 8♦ fell on the river.
Baum then led out for another 7,000, and Young quickly called. Baum showed A♠5♣ for top pair, but Young had J♠10♥ for a straight to win the pot..
Thomas Cullis raised to 900 under the gun before an opponent in the hijack three-bet to 2,800. Cullis called, and they went heads-up to the Q♠2♠3♦ flop.
The hijack then bet 1,500, and Cullis called. The 8♣ fell on the turn, and the hijack bet another 6,000. Cullis again called.
The river was the 7♥ and the hijack moved all in. Cullis snap-called for 23,300 and turned over 7♠7♦ for a rivered set, and his opponent tossed A♠6♠ into the muck as he handed over the double up.
Three ways to the J♦10♣3♠ flop, David Olshan in the big blind checked. Coleem Chestnut bet 2,000 from an early position for Mark Nadaban to call and Olshan came along as well.
The 10♥ turn paired the board and Olshan checked once more. Chestnut then bet 5,000 and that forced out Nadaban.
Olshan had other plans and check-raised to 15,000, which forced a reluctant fold from Chestnut.
James Lauer bet 1,700 from the small blind on a flop of 3♥Q♠Q♦ and Allen White called in middle position, as did Russ Dunlevy on the button.
The turn was the 7♠ and Lauer checked to White, who bet 3,500. Dunlevy then raised to 11,000, and Lauer got out of the way. White called to see the 6♥ river, where Dunlevy bet 15,000. White quickly called.
Dunlevy showed 7♦7♣ for a full house. "I knew a cooler was coming. Once you put in chips after I made it 3.5, I knew it was a cooler," White said as he flashed Q♥J♦ and mucked.

With the completed board showing A♠8♣8♦7♥7♦, Ketan Pandya in the big blind bet 2,000 into a pot of around 3,700.
In a rare tank decision, James Tedrow in the under-the-gun position mulled it over for nearly half a minute before he tossed in calling chips.
Pandya tabled his 9♣7♣ for sevens full of eights and Tedrow mucked.
More than 10,000 was already in the middle as James Lauer and an opponent went heads-up to the J♣K♥6♥ flop. Lauer then bet 2,500 from early position, and his opponent called in the small blind.
Both players checked the 3♠ turn. The small blind led out for 3,000 on the K♣ river, and Lauer called.
The small blind showed Q♥Q♦, but Lauer had K♠10♦ for trips to win the pot.
Thomas Cullis and an opponent built a pot of around 6,000 as they went to the turn with the board showing Q♦Q♠J♠6♦. The middle-position player then bet 3,000, and Cullis moved all in for 14,000 from early position. His opponent called.
Cullis showed A♥K♥ for a straight draw, while his opponent had 9♠9♥. Cullis needed to improve to stay alive, and he spiked the A♣ on the river to make two pair and double up.
With now up to 44 players spread across the five active tables, there is only one open seat for the time being and new tables may very well open in the next few minutes.
